June is National Kidney Month. Last June 28, was the celebration of CHDG, MDKCC and BRDC dialysis units. Our yearly advocacy is to bring awareness of Kidney Disease. This is also a time where patients will have a bit of fun and have time to other patients that they can relate to.

MOMENTS TO REMEMBER. Building confidence among patients is one of the advocacy programs that we conduct during this yearly Kidney Month Celebration. The patients from different centers (MDKCC, BRDC, CHDG dialysis unit), have time to mingle with other patients, sharing their own sentiments and just have a fun day. During the celebration, a contest amongst different patients known as "Talentadong Patient", get a chance to dance, sing or even act in front of other patients as well . By these, they will build confidence, continue on living life, and know that they are not alone during this difficult time.
