📢 ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL STUDENTS AND PARENTS!

To ensure flexibility in learning and to give everyone time to recover and stabilize after the recent typhoon, please be informed of the following schedule and updates:

📅 November 12 (Wednesday)
All students from Basic Education to College will have asynchronous (self-paced) learning activities. This will allow everyone to adjust, prepare, and settle before the release of new class guidelines.

📅 November 13–14 (Thursday and Friday)
Your respective College Departments and the Basic Education Department will release detailed information regarding your learning modalities, which may include:
✅ Face-to-Face (F2F)
✅ Online Synchronous (real-time virtual sessions)
✅ Online Asynchronous (self-paced learning activities)

Please stay tuned to your department’s official page, group chats, or email for specific announcements and class instructions.

Last September 5, 2025, we successfully held a blood donation activity in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross - Benguet Chapter and Barangay Pico!
A huge thank you to our 78 volunteers who selflessly donated blood to help save lives. Your generosity will bring hope and healing to those in need.

ATTENTION, dear KCPians!!!

Please be advised that there is an increased risk of Leptospirosis
during the rainy season, especially in areas affected by flooding.

What is Leptospirosis?
Leptospirosis is a serious bacterial infection transmitted through
contact with water contaminated by the urine of infected animals,
particularly rats. Floodwaters are a common source.

Early Symptoms May Include:
• Fever
• Headache
• Muscle pain (especially in the legs and lower back)
• Red eyes
• Chills
• Vomiting and diarrhea
• In severe cases: yellowing of the skin and eyes, or difficulty
breathing

Prevention Tips:
✅ Avoid walking or wading in floodwaters
✅ Wear protective footwear (e.g., boots) if exposure is unavoidable
✅ Wash immediately with soap and clean water after contact with
floodwater
✅ Maintain a clean environment to discourage rodent infestation

Important Reminder:
If you experience any of the symptoms—especially after exposure to floodwaters—seek medical attention immediately. Early consultation is crucial to avoid serious complications.

The School Clinics are open and ready to assist all students and staff with concerns or symptoms related to leptospirosis.
