Through every duty fulfilled—whether assisting in medical missions, organizing blood drives, or supporting health and safety initiatives—they have embodied the true spirit of the Red Cross. Their dedication, discipline, and willingness to serve have touched lives, uplifted communities, and set a powerful example for future volunteers.

‎West Visayas State University–Lambunao Campus Red Cross Youth Council in collaboration with Gender and Development conducted an Emergency First Aid Training on April 27, 2025, with a theme "Empowering Communities: Volunteering for a Sustainable Future."⛑️

‎The training was facilitated by instructors from the Philippine Red Cross-Iloilo Chapter. This training equiped students with vital knowledge and skills, enabling them to respond not only quickly but also effectively during emergencies.

‎The participants are not only prepared to save lives but are also embracing the spirit of volunteerism, community service, and key steps towards building stronger, more resilient, and sustainable communities.

‎The MDRRMO and BFP Lambunao conducted a fire and earthquake drill and symposium at West Visayas State University-Lambunao Campus last April 4, 2025.

‎The atmosphere was filled with energy and a shared sense of responsibility. ‎The College Red Cross Youth, serving as the medical team, and the ROTC officers, acting as the search and rescue unit, showed courage, dedication, and teamwork. This meaningful event not only strengthened disaster preparedness but also inspired unity and vigilance, reminding everyone that being ready can save lives when it matters most.⛑️

March 26, 2025: The COLLEGE RED CROSS YOUTH COUNCIL Officers and Volunteers of LAMBUNAO CAMPUS participated in the Student Leaders and Advisers Leadership Assembly 2025. held at West Visayas State University—Calinog Campus, with the theme L.E.A.D—LEARN, EMPOWER, ACT, AND DEVELOP: UNLEASHING THE LEADER WITHI”N.

This assembly aimed to empower student leaders on the external campuses of WVSU, and to inspire, serve, and rise.❤️

Heroes in Action! ❤️🩸

Bloodletting Activity with the theme "Dugong ROTC: Isang Pintig, Isang Buhay, Isang Pag-asa" was successfully held at West Visayas State University Lambunao Campus on February 15, 2025, with the joint force of Reserve Officers' Training Corps, Western Visayas Medical Center, Philippine Air Force, College Red Cross Youth Council and Lambunao Community Red Cross Youth Council believing that a simple act of giving can mean a lifetime for someone in need, this certifies that a single drop of blood can save the lives of many. Together, with unity and compassion, we can make a difference, and that is to save the lives of others.

In the four-day celebration of Campus Hinampang, the unwavering service of the West Visayas State University -Lambunao Campus College Redcross Youth Council despite the bad weather conditions shows the essence of volunteerism in securing the safety of the athletes and giving care to them.⛑️

Together with the newly recruited members, officers, CRCYC adviser, and CRCYC consultant, they serve without judgement, and they give their full potential in order to alleviate the suffering of the athletes.
From early mornings up until the program ends, they stand as pillars of support, attending to the athletes needs with kindness and diligence.🤝🤍

With every bandage applied, every comforting word spoken, and every moment of attention given, their actions not only protect and support the athletes but also inspire others to see the true value of service and empathy ❤️

This event serves the purpose of informing the newly recruited volunteers about the tasks that they are going to perform as young leaders and humanitarians and their stepping stone in being part of a global movement that saves lives, builds a culture of volunteerism, and is the beginning of an exciting journey of learning, growing, and making a meaningful impact in the community.

The College Red Cross Youth Council of WVSU-Lambunao Campus truly embodied the essence of a Red Cross volunteer as they demonstrated their service for the suffering humanity during the Reception Rites of the criminology interns and donning of CITU Ranks on August 19, 2024, at the WVSU-LC Grandstand.

The 4th year criminology students and the CITU officers embark on a new journey towards upholding competency and consistency. In the theme "Amplifying Leaders: Empowering Criminology Interns Through Firm Leadership and Discipline," they capture the idea that the combination of strong leadership and discipline is crucial in transforming criminology interns into empowered leaders who are prepared to excel in their careers.

To all CITU officers and 4th year criminology interns, from the CRCYC volunteers and CRCY Consultant, Ma'am Lara Jane L. Lazaleta, RN, MAN and CRCY Adviser Prof. Mark Joe D. Elvas. MS Crim, we extend our greatest congratulations for a job well done.👏

"LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2024 KICK OFF"

Diverse young people from various barangays in Lambunao, including the College Redcross Youth Council-Lambunao Campus together with CRCY Consultant, Ma'am Lara Jane L. Lazaleta, RN, MAN and CRCYC Adviser Prof. Mark Joe D. Elvas. MS Crim, gathered for the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2024, facilitated by the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation Municipality of Lambunao on August 11, 2024 at Lambunao Public Plaza, with the theme "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development."

The concept of "From Clicks to Progress" emphasizes how crucial it is to incorporate education and digital tools into youth development plans in order to meet the SDGs. This event provides young people with the opportunity they need to maximize their potential for bringing about significant change and creating a more sustainable future.
