DRYLMH Joins the 135th Fiesta sa Lambunao Civic Community Parade

The Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial Hospital (DRYLMH) proudly joined the vibrant Civic Community Parade in celebration of the 135th Fiesta sa Lambunao held this September 2025.

Carrying the banner of health and community service, the hospital contingent paraded alongside various government offices, schools, civic organizations, and uniformed personnel. With their signature colors and a strong sense of unity, the DRYLMH family showcased their commitment not only to quality healthcare but also to active participation in cultural and civic life.

The Civic Community Parade is one of the highlights of the annual fiesta, bringing together different sectors of society to celebrate Lambunao’s rich heritage, faith, and community spirit. This year’s festivity emphasized solidarity and pride as Lambunao continues to flourish as a first-class municipality.

For DRYLMH, joining the parade is more than just marching down the streets—it is a testament to the hospital’s enduring bond with the people of Lambunao. As the community’s partner in health and wellness, the hospital reaffirms its dedication to serve with compassion, excellence, and integrity.

𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗬. 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 (𝗗𝗥𝗬𝗟𝗠𝗛) employees participated in the recently concluded 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗢𝗙𝗧 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧 held at St. Paul University Iloilo with the theme: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱.

The summit gathered professionals, educators, students, executives and healthcare workers across the region to strengthen vital competencies such as communication, teamwork, leadership, adaptability, and emotional intelligence-skills that complement technical expertise and play a crucial role in delivering quality service in the healthcare sectors.

𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗙. 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗾𝘂𝗲 served as the Keynote Speaker. Vice Gov. Debuque emphasized that 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆, 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝘁𝘆 are the 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝗴𝗲 of the 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 against AI, Technology and Automation.

Two Resource Persons were introduced, 𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗔 𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗭, Global Training Specialist, AD Nano Cmpy. Ltd, Bangkok discussed 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 which gave emphasis on 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗸𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗶 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀. 𝗛𝗼𝗻. By engaging in room discussions and interactive sessions, DRYLMH Employees gained valuable insights and strategies to enhance workplace efficiency, improve patient-centered care and foster stronger collaboration among colleagues and stakeholders.

During these days, the Maternal, Newborn, Child health and Nutrition unit in DOH WV CHD is busy conducting symposiums in the different Health Institutions on the awareness on Exclusive Breastfeeding and Informed Family Planning Choices.

Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial Hospital through its Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health Nursing/ MBFHFI/Breastfeeding/Lactation Management Program holds its monthlong celebration of this Advocacies. Re-orientation of Hospital Personnel and New Entrants Employee was conducted to foster the hospital’s mandate on the Exclusive Breastfeeding and Family Planning Awareness.

Dr. John Reno Matillano and Mrs. Rona Legayada, RN spearheaded the celebration/awareness campaign.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 empowers individuals and couples to decide freely and responsibly the number and spacing of their children-a key to healthier families and communities.

Ladrido Memorial Hospital (DRYLMH) has been adjudged as one of the Best Nursing Service in the recently concluded DOH Western Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH WV-CHD) Regulation, Licensing and Enforcement Division (RLED) Recognition of Top Performing Level 1 Hospital in Western Visayas, held on August 27, 2025 at Punta Villa Resort, Iloilo City

This recognition underscores the hospital’s unwavering commitment in delivering quality Nursing Care, promoting patient safety, and upholding excellence in healthcare delivery services. It also highlights the vital role of the nursing workforce in ensuring compassionate and efficient service to the community.

The Dedication and Professionalism of every Nursing Service personnel fulfills the hospital’s mandate of providing accessible and quality healthcare.

The event gathered dedicated individuals, organizations, healthcare facilities and partner institutions who have selflessly supported PRC’s mission of saving lives through voluntary blood donation.

The ceremony highlighted the individual contribution of blood donors and partner hospitals in ensuring adequate and safe blood supply for Iloilo and neighboring provinces. Awards and Certificates were conferred to recognize their unwavering commitment to humanitarian services.

One of the distinguished awardees was 𝗗𝗥. 𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗢 𝗬. 𝗟𝗔𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗢 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 (𝗗𝗥𝗬𝗟𝗠𝗛), 𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗨𝗡𝗔𝗢 with its 𝗗𝗨𝗚𝗢 𝗠𝗢, 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗛𝗜 𝗞𝗢 advocacy/campaign received a 𝘾𝙀𝙍𝙏𝙄𝙁𝙄𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝙊𝙁 𝙀𝙓𝘾𝙀𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀 for its outstanding support and active participation in the blood donation program for more than 𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 with cumulative output of more than 𝟳𝟬𝟬 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀 collected during the conduct of blood donation activities. The Hospital’s dedication in encouraging regular donors and organizing bloodletting activities has greatly contributed to PRC’s lifesaving efforts.

Dr. April D. Legayada, COH II-OIC, Mae Fatima Singalivo, RMT, Chief Med Tech and Jimmy R. Singalivo, RRT, Chief Rad Tech received the certificate in behalf of all the donors from DRYLMH and stakeholders.

Each drop of blood freely given s a testament of compassion. Through the help of each donor and partners, Hope is given and Lives are extended.

With continued collaboration, the PRC Iloilo Chapter looks forward to reaching more milestones in strengthening the culture of Blood Donation, ensuring that every patient in need has access to safe and sufficient blood.
