The Municipality of Lanuza successfully conducted the Joint On-Site Validation of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC), and the Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA).

This activity highlights the commitment of the LGU to ensure the protection, welfare, and rights of children, as well as to strengthen programs addressing violence against women and children.

Through collaboration, assessment, and continuous improvement, we remain steadfast in building a safer, more inclusive, and child-friendly community for every Lanuzanhon.

Today marks a meaningful and historic milestone for the Municipality of Lanuza as we officially re-launch our 24-Hour Emergency Health Services, a significant step in strengthening and expanding healthcare services for our people.

I welcomed representatives from the Department of Agriculture โ€“ Philippine Coconut Authority (DA-PCA) to my office for a courtesy visit and presentation of their proposed Mobile Health and Medical Program for coconut farmers and their families.

During the meeting, they presented the details indicated in their letter, including the range of services for possible implementation such as free medical consultations, optical services, dental services, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic services. These initiatives aim to benefit our local coconut farmers, especially those in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA).

We look forward to working closely with DA-PCA in bringing this program to Lanuza for the welfare and well-being of our coconut farmers and their families. ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ’š
