After attending Sunday Mass, I had the opportunity to meet with the dedicated volunteers of the Seventh Day Adventist Lanuza-Madrid District during their Adventist Community Services program. Their endeavor to clean up sections of our environment serves as a touching reminder that genuine service is boundless, driven solely by compassion and commitment.

I am deeply grateful to all of the dedicated Adventist volunteers for their invaluable assistance and teamwork. Your support has been vital to our continued efforts to restore Lanuza's proud reputation as the Cleanest and Greenest Municipality in the Philippines. Your participation is important not only to the LGU but to every Lanuzanhon who wishes for a better, cleaner, and greener town. 🍃🌳🌴💚

I had the chance to visit one of our hidden gems, "Little Hawaii" in Brgy. Habag, where the surf, breeze, and scenery truly live up to the name. It’s always a pleasure to appreciate the natural beauty that our community offers.

Before returning home, I loved supporting our neighborhood sellers by purchasing some of their delectable street snacks. Simple joys like these serve as reminders of our community's warmth and charm.

Let’s continue to support our local vendors and promote this new tourism spot in Habag, a place where nature and community come together beautifully. ☀🍡💚

Yesterday evening, I had the opportunity of attending the Nurcia Integrated SPTA Induction Ceremony. The event highlighted the outstanding collaboration of parents, teachers, and school officials in creating a better learning environment for our students.

Stakeholders and municipal representatives gathered to discuss issues pertaining to the local water system, with an emphasis on revenue generation and sustainability. In order to improve operations and ensure the system continues to generate revenue for the town, key issues were identified, and proposed solutions were discussed.

Reviving the Kilometro 3 water supply proposal, initially introduced in 2001, was a notable suggestion put forth during the discussions. Kilometro 3, which has the capacity to produce up to 81 gallons per second, offers a substantial chance to improve the water supply and establish a steady source of income for the community. 💧💚

The food packs were successfully handed to the dedicated volunteer beneficiaries of Brgy. Sibahay, Zone 3, and Agsam participated in the MSWD Office's 4-day Food-for-Work Community Clean-Up Campaign, which was led by Ma'am Lo**ta G. Cidro, RSW.

This endeavor helps to maintain Lanuza's reputation as the Philippines' Cleanest and Greenest municipality. Through this initiative, we recognize the important role of community members in keeping our environment clean while also providing them with minimal food assistance in exchange for their services.

Today marks the accomplished culmination of National Disaster Resilience Month, which included an entertaining inter-school competition among Lanuza's participating schools. The event emphasized our young learners' creativity, awareness, and preparedness to promote disaster resilience in their schools.

From poster-making to a quiz bee and spoken poetry performances, students demonstrated their knowledge and talents based on this year's topic, with the goal of cultivating a culture of preparedness and social responsibility in the face of natural disasters.

We successfully held the third quarterly joint meeting of the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), and Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (MTF-ELCAC).

This meeting aimed to evaluate and synchronize our ongoing efforts to maintain peace and order, increase anti-drug initiatives, and support the municipality's security and community development projects. Key topics include updates on barangay-level anti-drug operations, rehabilitation programs, and measures for improving stakeholder participation in averting the revival of illegal drug activity.

We also discussed the necessity of proactive governance, ongoing interaction with communities, and strengthened partnerships with law enforcement agencies in order to preserve a peaceful and resilient Lanuza free of drug-related violence and conflict. 💚🤍

Yesterday, we successfully presented the State of Governance Executive Report and provided orientation to the newly elected legislative and executive officers of the Municipality of Lanuza, led by DILG MLGOO Joselito Ramos.

The activity provided an important platform for evaluating our previous performance and guiding the new administration. It attempted to align our objectives and reaffirm our commitment to transparent, accountable, and participatory governance for the people of Lanuza.
