Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos announces the suspension of classes at all levels, both in public and private schools in the Province of Ilocos Norte, following the magnitude 5.8 earthquake earlier today, July 15, 2025, to prioritize the safety of students and school personnel, while allowing authorities to conduct thorough inspections of school facilities for any potential damage.

We strongly urge everyone to stay alert and follow safety protocols, as aftershocks may occur.

As part of this program, female students aged 9-14y/o of the School of Basic Education receive the HPV vaccine, a critical step in preventing cervical cancer. Simultaneously, their eligible parents and guardians are offered free cervical and breast cancer screenings.

Through this initiative, together, let us build a brighter and healthier future for our young learners—starting with protection, awareness, and care.

Notice to the Public

Please be informed that there will be no office work on Friday, June 27, 2025, due to scheduled Faculty and Personnel Development activities.

In line with this, regular office transactions and other operations, as well as classes in the School of Basic Education, are suspended on the above mentioned date.

Meanwhile, Summer/Midyear College classes will shift to asynchronous mode. Students are advised to check their learning platforms for course materials and instructions from their instructors.

Regular office operations and all classes will resume on Monday, June 30, 2025.
