Today, as we celebrate 79th Founding Anniversary of the Divine Word College of Laoag, Inc., we also celebrate the retirement of an incredible school physician and an even better human being. The Divine Word College of Laoag, Inc. (DWCL) produced 53 new nurses after the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named them as among the 40,692 passers of the November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination.

DWCL’s latest success reaffirms its strong performance in nursing education, continuing a consistent streak of high passing rates in recent board examinations.

This year, the institution sets an overall passing rate of 88.33 percent, surpassing last year’s 87.10 percent, thus, marking a notable improvement in its board performance.

The school also posted an impressive 91.23 percent passing rate among first-time takers, further strengthening its reputation for producing competent and well-prepared nursing professionals.

DWCL commended its graduates, faculty, and clinical partners for contributing to the achievement, noting that the results reflect the college’s continued commitment to academic excellence and quality healthcare education.
