Select employees, headed by the OIC Chief of Hospital, Dr. Arlene Ragasa, conducted a benchmarking activity at Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center on March 16, 2026, to observe and learn best practices in hospital operations and service delivery.

The activity covered key areas including Billing and Claims, Out-Patient Department (OPD), Medical Social Service, Central Supply Office, Pharmacy operations, costing of drugs, and Healthcare Waste Management.

This activity marks the third benchmarking initiative of the hospital, aimed at strengthening existing policies, procedures, and processes. The learnings from this activity may be adopted to further improve hospital operations, enhance service delivery, and support continuous quality improvement of the hospital.

PUBLIC ADVISORY

All hospitals and health facilities in Region I are placed on “Code Blue” Alert effective November 7, 2025 in anticipation of any eventuality during Tropical Cyclone Uwan

Under Code Blue Alert:
✅ Additional health personnel are now deployed in evacuation centers and temporary health facilities in typhoon-affected areas.
✅ Medicines, medical supplies, and mobile response teams are prepositioned to support LGUs.
✅ The Operations Center and Health Emergency Management Staff are activated for rapid coordination and emergency response.
