Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

3 ways on How to take care of your Mental Health:

1. Express your feelings and emotions
- It's much easier to share your thoughts, the intellectual information in your brain, than your feelings.

2. Take up a mindfulness practice
- Helps concentrate the mind and allows us to be able to function better and more effectively, both in our everyday and in our spiritual life.

3. Rest and Relax
- It is so important to rest. I hope you are giving yourself time to relax and just be today. It’s not something you “deserve” it’s actually something you NEED.

No matter who you are, what you do, or how content you think you are, there will be days when you feel absolutely stressed out.

Everybody experiences stress at some point or another because it's a natural part of life. However, that doesn't make it any simpler! When you're dealing with stress, it can be challenging to see a way out of the situation. Stress can feel overwhelming.

Sometimes, all you truly need to get through a stressful situation is a gentle reminder that the end of the dark tunnel is in sight.

Always remember to
"Love yourself deeply and enthusiastically ".

Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Mental health is often overlooked by many people, especially in our country. Here, we see the stigma around the discussion on mental health issues with a lot of the older generation not understanding what the younger generation mean when they say that they are struggling mentally. So, this can lead to their children or grandchildren not receiving the support and treatment they need to solve their problems. And when a mental illness is left untreated, this often leads to various other problems that adds to the already hard life they experience.

Here are some of the effects when a mental illness, such as depression or anxiety, is left unchecked. Let's be aware of them to remove the "It's all in your head" mentality!
