🇵🇭 PLAYGROUP AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS 🇵🇭

As part of our Buwan ng Wika themed activities, our Playgroup children explored Filipino culture through a fun and creative coloring activity! 🎨🖍️

They enjoyed bringing traditional Filipino costumes to life with vibrant colors—sparking their imagination while learning about the diverse and beautiful clothing from different regions of the Philippines.

It's a joyful way to nurture cultural appreciation, even at a young age! 🇵🇭❤️

Despite the weather conditions, the center is still open today. Playgroup and SNED classes are only half-day while Therapy sessions will push through with its regular schedule.

🇵🇭 PLAYGROUP AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS 🇵🇭

Dressing up paper dolls has been a cherished part of many Filipino childhoods—long before gadgets and cellphones became the norm.

As part of our Buwan ng Wika celebration, our Playgroup children had a wonderful time dressing up paper dolls in traditional Filipino costumes. This simple yet meaningful activity not only sparked their creativity but also gave them a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines.

🇵🇭 PLAYGROUP AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS 🇵🇭

Last month, our Playgroup children participated in a variety of Filipino-themed activities in celebration of Buwan ng Wika.

One highlight was the traditional game Kadang-Kadang, also known as the Stilts Game. Although it presented a fun challenge, the activity greatly helped in developing the children's gross motor skills, coordination, and sense of balance, all while giving them a meaningful connection to Filipino culture.
