Update!

Tropical Storm Basyang has made landfall in Bayabas, Surigao del Sur, and is expected to impact Central Visayas, with Signal No. 2 raised in 15 areas. The storm is moving west-northwest at 20 km/h, with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h and gusts up to 90 km/h

Signal No. 2. Southern Leyte, Bohol, CEBU, Negros Oriental, and parts of Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands

Heavy Rainfall
Palawan, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, CEBU, Bohol, Siquijor, Antique, Iloilo, and Guimaras

PAGASA advises residents to prepare for potential flooding and landslides. Basyang is expected to weaken into a tropical depression by Friday evening or Saturday morning and into a low-pressure area by Sunday morning.
