The “Idol Ko si Nanay” Training of Trainers for Health Workers, held last April 6–10, 2026 at Villa Cruz Nature’s Resort, was a meaningful journey of learning, collaboration, and inspiration.

Our dedicated health workers came together to deepen their knowledge, enhance their skills, and reaffirm their commitment to championing maternal and child health in our communities. 🌿✨

Through shared experiences and valuable insights, we continue to build a stronger network of advocates who truly embody the spirit of “Idol Ko si Nanay” - caring, empowering, and leading with compassion.

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF RHU BIRTHING FACILITY

This is to inform the public that the RHU Las Navas Birthing Facility will be temporarily closed from April 6 to April 10, 2026 to allow health personnel to attend the mandatory “Idol Ko si Nanay” Training of Trainers for Health Workers.

To ensure uninterrupted delivery of maternal and newborn health services, coordination has been established with the following facilities:

• RHU Catubig
• Catubig District Hospital

All expectant mothers are advised to proceed to the above-mentioned facilities for assistance during the said period.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we strive to improve our maternal and newborn care services. 💙

Ngayong Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, paalala sa lahat na magpasuri upang maprotektahan ang inyong kalusugan. 🩺

✅ F***l Occult Blood Test (FOBT) / F***l Immunochemical Test (FIT) – pagsusuri kung may nakatagong dugo sa dumi.
📍Inirerekomenda taun-taon para sa mga edad 50 pataas.
✅Colonoscopy – pagsusuri sa malaking bituka at tumbong upang makita kung may abnormal na bukol o kanser.
📍 Inirerekomenda kada sampung taon para sa mga edad 50 pataas.

📋 RLED PCF Initial Inspection Conducted at the RHU Las Navas

Our Rural Health Unit successfully underwent the RLED Primary Care Facility (PCF) Initial Inspection led by the Department of Health – Regulatory Licensing and Enforcement Division (DOH RLED).

The inspection assessed our compliance with licensing standards, patient safety protocols, infection prevention and control measures, facility requirements, and quality service delivery.

We remain committed to upholding regulatory standards and continuously improving our primary healthcare services for the community. 💚🏥
