Another successful hands-on training completed!
As part of our residency training, residents enhanced their surgical skills through our Annual Basic Compression Suturing Workshop, designed to strengthen their knowledge, refine their skills, and boost their confidence in managing obstetric and gynecologic cases.

Through skill-building and collaboration, we continue to prepare future obstetricians to save lives—one suture at a time. 🩺👏

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our esteemed consultant, Dr. Victoria May H. Velasco-Redondo, MD, FPOGS, FPSSTD, for sharing her expertise as our resource speaker. Thank you, Ma’am! 💐

Last May 23, 2025, the LPGH STC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology hosted a health lecture and free Pap smear screening and visual inspection with Acetic Acid as part of our commitment to women’s health and early cancer detection. 💜

As we celebrate May as Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, we proudly support this year’s theme:
“Cervixong Totoo: Alamin, Iwasan, at Labanan ang Cervical Cancer.”
