Hindi biro ang pinagdaanan ni Benjamin 😔. Na-diagnose siya ng 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝘁’𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 (𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀) at nawalan ng kakayahang maglakad. Isang taon siyang bedridden at naka-wheelchair 🦽. Sabi ng doktor, kailangan daw siyang operahan — pero tumanggi siya. Sa halip, pinili nilang magtiwala sa 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆. 🙏

Galing pa sila sa 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲, lumuwas papuntang Metro Manila ✈️ para lang makahanap ng tamang tulong. Hanggang sa nadiskubre ng anak niyang si 𝗡𝗶ñ𝗼 ang 𝗙𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗦𝗮𝗯 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 🏥, at dito nagsimula ang pagbabago.

Dahil sa 𝘀𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗴, 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗮, unti-unting bumangon si Benjamin 💪.
Mula sa pagiging wheelchair-bound, ngayon ay 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗶𝘀𝗮 🚶‍♂️✨

Sa video na ito, maririnig mo rin ang anak niyang si Niño habang ikinukuwento kung gaano siya ka-proud sa ama niya❤️. Sabi niya, “Ibang saya ‘yung makita mong nakakalakad ulit ang taong mahal mo.” 🥹

At sabi naman ni Benjamin, “Ang physical therapy, totoo talagang physical. Pero hindi ako sumusuko.” 💯
