Continuous Pet Exposure: NOT a Treatment Strategy for Established Allergic Disease

❌PARTIAL KNOWLEDGE IS DANGEROUS. A true statement taken out of context can become misleading. 😔 Dapat po balanse ang curiosity and caution.
🤓Totoong may mga studies na early pet exposure ay posibleng magbaba ng future allergy risk. PREVENTION AND FUTURE RISK PO ANG FOCUS NILA. DO NOT MAKE SUPER BIG JUMP SA SARILING CONCLUSION na tuloy tuloy na exposure in a child already with allergy can help treat the condition.
❌O baka may magjump na naman into another conclusion na I am suggesting na tama na laging alisin ang pets. Pet removal decision should be individualized.

👨🏻‍⚕Non-vaccination CHECK UP is by walk-in first come first served. NO need to PM na pupunta kayo. Concern/s na need ng gamot ay need ipacheck up at hindi PM PM lang. Hindi po free magpareseta.
🏥HMOs accepted for physical clinic check up and for admissions. I am currently not accepting HMOs for online check up.
❌NO mix and match po. If child is sick (ubo sipon, diarrhea, etc. , then sickness po ang ichecheck and NOT included ang well child issues (vitamins, deworming, screening tests, etc), and developmental issues (delayed speech, delayed sitting, etc.). Multiple symptoms of related problem (ubo + sipon) sige lang pero
❌multiple types of check up (symptoms of sakit + development issue) ay no no lalo kung hindi ko regular patient... ❌magsisingit ng obviously unrelated symptoms ay no no also (ex. 2 days ubo sipon at saka sabay na rin ang 2 months rashes na never pinacheck)
❌not accepting newborns less than 1 month old... sa ibang pedia niyo ipa"catch" ang baby during panganganak at sa iba niyo ipacheck before 1 month old
🩺FOLLOW UP ay physical NOT online unless otherwise mentioned during the previous check up. Persistence of old symptoms and/or appearance of new symptoms require physical follow up not online tanong tanong.
💉*ACCINATIONS by appointment not by walk-in... PM me 2-3 days before planong araw para maready ko ang *accines. Cash and gcash accepted. No credit card no bank to bank transfer. Ideal date for *accination ay Wednesday Casa and Saturday HP.

Rabies: NOT in Non-Mammalian Animals

🤔"Posible bang magrabies kapag kinagat ng pato? "

🤓Since nasa bakasyon ang many of you, marami na naman ang ma-eexpose sa kung anu-anong animals.
🤓Hindi po makakakuha ng rabies from non-mammalian species:
❌birds* - like duck
❌reptiles - like snake, turtle, butiki
❌amphibians - like frog, toad
❌fish
❌insects

*paalala: Bats are winged mammals NOT birds. They can have rabies. ❗️❗️❗️

👨🏻‍⚕The post is NOT suggesting na hindi na kailangan ng check up. Hindi lang naman rabies ang puwedeng infection na makuha from animals.

🤓Botanically, gulay ang patatas. Nutritionally, under ito ng go food dahil sa mataas na carbohydrate content. It is an energy source.

🤓ang recommended ay either basang bimpo or microfiber cloth

👨🏻‍⚕Cleaning helps pero it is not enough. Nakakastress ang paulit-ulit na sintomas pero hindi kailangang tiisin. Magpacheck up sa pediatrician. 👍🏻

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MY PATIENTS:

2. I finally had time to send typed vaccine record + post-vaccination handouts. Kung may recent vaccination kayo sakin pero walang nareceive, it means hindi ko alam ang fb account niyo dahil face-to-face kayo nagpasched. PM me.

paalala: Mahigpit kong pinagbabawal ang sharing ng handouts at reseta ko sa iba kahit na mga relatives niyo. If they want my reseta and/or handouts, then magpaconsult and magpavaccine sila. My handouts are part / extension of me. I spend a significant amount of time making them.

🤓Pag-usapan natin today ang provider and presyo. I decided to post this para send link na lang kapag may nag-inquire.

🤔"Ano ang difference ng *accine niyo at ng *accine sa mga ABC?"
❤️I use Verorab, a pre-qualified vaccine by the WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION. Ang meaning ay "a rabies vaccine that has undergone and passed the WHO prequalification process, confirming that it meets international standards of quality, safety, efficacy, and programmatic suitability."
Of course hindi ko naman nilibot ang buong Las Pinas to check all ABC. Based sa mga nakita ko so far, wala pa po akong nakikitang ABC na ito ang brand na gamit so far.
❤️I inject sa muscle so only 1 SHOT PER VISIT x 3 visits = TOTAL 3 SHOTS. Based sa mga nakikita ko so far na ABC, they inject small amount sa skin and that style ng vaccination requires 2 shots per visit x 3 visits = total 6 shots.
❤️Pediatrician (me) ang mag-iinject.
🖤mahal na brand + isang vial ng vaccine per visit instead na small amount + pedia mag-iinject = of course significantly different po ang presyo

🤔"What do you mean it may or may not be applicable for others?"
🤓The brands na mas mura ay available for purchase din naman saming private pedia. I can't assure na all pedia sa buong bansa use the WHO-prequalified brand.
🤓I can't assure na all pedia sa bansa uses the 1 shot 1 bote style per visit.
🤓Hindi ko alam kung sa panahon ngayon all pedia clinics ay pedia na ang nag-iinject. Long time ago may alam kasi akong nurse ang pinapa-inject.

👨🏻‍⚕Binakunahan ko ang tatay ng isang patient ko recently. When I looked at the chart and nakita ko ang age na 30+, unang pumasok sa isip ko "ang bata pa pala". -> tapos naisip ko teka hindi naman bata ang 30+ 😅 Medyo malaki lang ang age gap namin kaya siguro ganun ang first thought ko 😅

38 na po ako 😅
