Basic economics of caring for your teeth:

Having your teeth cleaned regularly (every 6 months) will cost about a thousand pesos or two in a year but it helps to keep your teeth cavity-free. At the worst, it enables us to restore small cavities and nip the problem in the bud.

If you wait 2 years, however, a small cavity will most probably be a huge cavity that can no longer be restored ordinarily. Such cases require treatment that cost BIG BUCKS! your one or two thousand expense would balloon to about 7 to 20K PER TOOTH depending on which tooth is affected. That is a HUGE additional expense!

Sadly, the alternative is to lose that tooth/ teeth and wear dentures or bridges as replacement, which (you guessed it!) cost a fortune themselves.🙁

In this time where stress is already high and resources are scarce, do you really wanna skimp on regular check up and cleaning and pay a bigger price later on??
