NO MORE TSUNAMI WARNING IN THE PHILIPPINES. As of 4:40pm today, Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS-DOST) issued cancellation of tsunami advisory.

⚠️ Tsunami Alert for Legazpi City & Coastal Areas

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council (PDRRMC) has issued a minor sea-level disturbance advisory for the Bicol east coast (including Legazpi City), based on guidance from PHIVOLCS following a significant offshore earthquake.

🕑 Estimated wave arrival time: 1:20 PM – 2:40 PM today (PST)
🌊 Expected wave height: under 1 meter, but may continue for several hours

✅ Recommended Actions:
Avoid going near the beach or coastal areas until the advisory is lifted.
If you live or work near the shoreline, move to higher ground inland immediately.
Boat owners should secure their vessels and stay offshore in deeper water.
Stay tuned to official updates from PHIVOLCS, APSEMO, or local government channels.
