PTSI-ACCD SCREENS OVER 666 PATIENTS IN NAGA CITY 🫁🩻 — FOR FREE!

From October 24–25 and 27–29, we successfully conducted tuberculosis (TB) screening for 666 patients from various barangays in Naga City, including individuals from the Missionaries of the Poor and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). PTSI-Albay Chest Clinic & Dispensary brought their Mobile Xray Van as well as the UPCXR or the Ultraportable Chest Xray that made it possible to cater all people in the society.

This is made possible through the strong partnership and support of the Naga City Health Office (CHO) I & II, Naga City Government with Mayor Leni Robredo, Philippine College of Chest Physicians, Physicians for Peace and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) Naga.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Lira Sinagpulo, Ms. Delmari Novelo, and Ms. Yaga Enrile Ballon for their invaluable contributions to the success of this activity.

As TB cases in Naga have risen to over 800, this effort is part of our ongoing commitment to prevent and control the spread of tuberculosis in the city.

Together, let us continue working towards a healthier and TB-free Naga City. 💚

🏫💚 Towards a TB-Free Future!

DepEd, in partnership with the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. (PTSI), continues to build healthier learning environments through the TB-Free Schools Program — raising awareness, promoting early detection, and ensuring access to proper care for students and school personnel.

This October 15–16, we PTSI ACCD successfully screened 274 students during our two-day TB screening event — a strong step toward making our schools safer and healthier for all! 🙌

Together, we fight TB one school at a time. 💪

(Legazpi City, October 15, 2025) Matagumpay na isinagawa ang libreng x-ray screening para sa mga kawani ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Albay bilang bahagi ng patuloy na kampanya para sa kalusugan.

Ito'y sa pangunguna ng Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. (PTBSI), sa pakikipagtulungan sa Albay Provincial Health Office (APHO).

Layunin ng programa na matiyak ang kalusugan ng mga kawani ng pamahalaan sa pamamagitan ng early detection ng tuberculosis (TB) at iba pang posibleng sakit sa baga.

Ayon kay Ma. Miccah Ruth Jaeneille C. Antivola, Staff Nurse ng Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. (PTBSI), bahagi ito ng mas malawak na adbokasiya laban sa TB, na isa sa mga nangungunang isyung pangkalusugan sa bansa.

Nagpaabot naman ng pasasalamat ang PTBSI sa pakikipag-tulungan ng kapitolyo para sa naturang gawain at sinabing malaking tulong ito upang mapanatili ang kalusugan ng mga empleyado habang patuloy na nagbibigay ng serbisyo sa publiko.

"We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Provincial Health Office and to the Office of the Governor, for allowing us to conduct a free chest x-ray screening for all of their employees, this initiative greatly supports our mission to promote early detection and prevention of tuberculosis in workplace," dagdag pa nito.
