Alam mo ba na ang Pilipinas ay pangatlo sa may pinakamataas na kaso ng TB sa buong mundo?

Ngunit huwag mag-alala—may magagawa ka laban sa TB!

Kapag may sintomas ng TB, magpatingin agad sa doktor o sa pinakamalapit na health center.
Kung ikaw ay may TB, siguraduhing tapusin ang gamutan.
Iwasan ang stigma! Ang pagbabahagi ng tamang impormasyon tungkol sa TB ay makakatulong upang mabawasan ang pagkalat nito.

Magpatingin. Tapusin ang gamutan. Labanan ang stigma.

𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚 𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐓𝐁, 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐎 𝐬𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐁 𝐃𝐚𝐲

(Legazpi City, March 24, 2026) Pinaigting ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Albay, sa pamamagitan ng Albay Provincial Health Office (APHO) ang kampanya kontra tuberculosis sa paggunita ng World TB Day ngayong araw.

Sa kanilang Facebook post, hinikayat ang publiko na magpasuri, magpagamot, at sumunod sa TB preventive treatment o TPT upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng sakit.

Binigyang-diin ng APHO ang kahalagahan ng maagang pagtuklas at tamang gamutan upang mapigilan ang pagtaas ng kaso ng TB sa bansa.

Dagdag pa ng opisina, mayroon ding mga libreng serbisyo at gamot na inaalok sa mga pampublikong pasilidad.

Nanawagan naman ang APHO sa publiko na makiisa sa adhikaing upang maprotektahan ang sarili, pamilya, at komunidad laban sa tuberculosis.

MARCH 24 IS WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY

🚨Karaniwan nating na-eencounter ang tuberculosis sa baga. Sila yung mga pasyenteng mahigit 3 linggo na ang ubo tapos nangangayayat, nilalagnat at minsan may dugo sa plema

🚨Pero ang TUBERCULOSIS (dulot ng Mycobacterium tuberculosis) ay pwedeng mag-infect sa iba't ibang bahagi ng katawan:
- TB sa kulani (scrofula)
- TB sa buto/spine (Pott's disease)
- TB sa kidneys at pantog (genitourinary TB)
- TB sa esophagus, sikmura, bituka (gastrointestinal TB)
- TB sa utak, spinal cord (tuberculous meningitis)
- TB sa puso (pericardial TB)

🚨Maaaring magdulot ng CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE ang genitourinary TB kung hindi ito maagapan

🚨Ilan sa mga forms na ito (gaya ng TB sa buto at utak) ay mas matagal ginagamot (12 months versus 6 months sa baga)

🚨 Magpatingin agad kung meron ng mga senyales at sintomas na ito:
- ubo na higit 3 linggo
- hindi maipaliwanag na pangangayayat
- lagnat
- may nakakapang kulani sa leeg
- may dugo sa ihi
- pananakit ng likod
- pananakit ng tiyan
- matinding sakit ng ulo o kombulsyon

- you have symptoms like cough, fever and weight loss
- are a close contact of a TB patient, or
- belong to a high-risk group such as people who are undernourished or have a weakened immune system including those with HIV or diabetes.

It is vital to complete your full course of treatment.
