He works as a Chemist at Department of Health Bicol.

When asked why he would encourage professionals in the healthcare field to choose MSPH for their personal and career development, here's his response:

"Choosing the Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) program was both a personal and professional decision. As a Registered Chemist in the healthcare field, I’ve always believed that science and service go hand in hand. Public health allowed me to see beyond the laboratory — to understand how policies, behaviors, and systems impact lives on a much broader scale.

The MSPH program at AMEC-BCCM expanded my perspective beyond test results and research. It trained me to become a more versatile professional — capable of contributing not just in technical spaces, but in health planning, education, and policy development. The mentorship I received, combined with practical research experience, greatly enhanced my ability to address health concerns from both a scientific and public health standpoint.

I encourage aspiring health professionals — especially those in specialized fields like, MedTech, Nursing, Pharmacy, or even us, Chemists— to take this step. The MSPH program at AMEC-BCCM is more than an academic journey; it’s a transformation into a leader equipped to create real impact in communities.

To anyone considering this path: pursue it not just to add letters after your name, but to gain a deeper sense of purpose in what you do"

Let's meet 𝑴𝒔. 𝑱𝒂𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂 𝑶. 𝑰𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏!

She is an alumna of AMEC-BCCM College of Midwifery. In 2022, she placed 3rd in the PRC MIDWIFERY LICENSURE Examination. Currently, Ms. Ibalin is one of our candidates for graduation from this year's batch of MSPH graduating students.

When asked why she would encourage professionals in the healthcare field to choose MSPH for their personal and career development, here's her response:

"Choosing the Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) program was a decision rooted in my deep desire to serve communities more effectively as a midwife. As a frontliner in a geographically isolated and disadvantaged area (GIDA), I saw firsthand the urgent need for leaders who are not only skilled in clinical care but also grounded in public health principles. The MSPH program at AMEC gave me that opportunity.

Through this journey, I gained more than just academic knowledge. I developed critical thinking, leadership, and research skills that I now apply daily in the field. The program broadened my perspective and allowed me to design community-based interventions aligned with our local needs. As a DOH scholar, this was my way of giving back — by using what I’ve learned to uplift the health status of the people I serve.

I encourage fellow midwives and public health workers to take this step forward. At AMEC, you’re not just earning a degree — you’re being shaped into a catalyst of change. The institution nurtures you not only to finish but to excel. If you’re ready to grow, lead, and serve, MSPH at AMEC is the right choice."
