Ashfall consists of fine volcanic particles released during an eruption. These particles can affect breathing, contaminate water sources, damage property, and pose serious health risksโespecially to children, the elderly, pregnant women, and those with respiratory conditions.

โข Coughing and throat irritation
โข Difficulty breathing
โข Eye irritation and redness
โข Worsening of asthma and other lung conditions
โข Reduced visibility that may cause accidents
