Driven by excellent service from well-trained teachers and our optimal facilities built specially for your child. With burning passion to educate children with special needs, we have created a center where each child will be able to maximize their true potentials. Together with our dedicated teachers, assisted by technology, and geared with optimum facilities, we believe each child will have the opportunity not only to mature but also to become productive citizens of our society. This was only a dream. A dream for our children and a dream for our society. Visit us and witness this dream turn into a reality. The dilemma of families of children with special needs here in the Philippines has consistently existed because of the lack of community awareness, scarcity of services in educational institutions, as well as deficiencies of equipped educators willing to teach these children. Moreover, regions like Bicol which are distant to Manila endure greater problems for lack of options and available services for exceptional children. With the present issue at hand, a team of Special Education teachers, and information technology experts collaborated to alleviate the lives of families of children with special needs in Legazpi City.

LSC Team met with several prominent trailblazers in the field during the convention, last Sep 3-4, 2025. Our very own Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician, Dr. Maria Isabel O. Quilendrino discussed life in transition on day 2. We also had the opportunity to meet Juan Alfonzo "Japonz" Dacumos, a neurodivergent individual who recently gained public recognition after graduating summa cm laude from DLSU, and Teacher Al de Alban, a dedicated advocate for inclusive education and the rights of children with special needs. This experience has further intensified our desire to create more possibilities for our students in Life Skills Center. 🧡 💙

In the continuous pursuit of research-based, and up-to-date intervention for your children, Life Skills Center sent representatives in the Silver Anniversary Biennial Convention of the Philippine Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Here at LSC, we are committed to maintain optimum services, and to further improve the quality of interventions available to the Bicolano families in our community. 🫶

✨ 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 ✨
Last June 29, 2025, Life Skills Center launched the very first advocacy walk for children with exceptionalities in Legazpi City. This initiative served to increase awareness, acceptance, and foster compassion towards the families of children with special needs. Through this effort, Life Skills Center has stayed true to its mission of educating the community to become more compassionate and pro-active members working towards inclusion and equal opportunities. Beyond spreading awareness, this event was also a heartfelt celebration of our founding anniversary. It was a moment to reflect and honor how LIFE SKILLS CENTER has consistently delivered excellent, and optimum service, tirelessly supporting and empowering our students with special needs for 8 amazing years!

Thank you to all the individuals, and organizations who helped us make this event successful! To the Bicol University Marching Band spearheaded by Sir Alex Devalas for bringing more energy to our parade, and to LGU Legazpi, PSO Legazpi, and PNP Legazpi ensuring our event was safe.

We couldn't be prouder of our community for being catalysts of change, and transforming our society in our own little ways! Rest assured, Life Skills will be committed to put in more effort to fully achieve the mission of changing society's perspective towards children with exceptionalities.
