Let's meet ๐ด๐. ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ. ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐!
She works as a City Health Office Midwife at the Local Government Unit of Naga City.
When asked why she would encourage professionals in the healthcare field to choose MSPH for their personal and career development, here's her response:
"The MSPH journey was never just about earning a degree. It was about rediscovering my purpose.
There were days I was exhausted juggling fieldwork, sleepless nights editing my manuscript and the responsibilities of being a mother, a wife, and a student all at once. But every sacrifice, every moment of doubt, became part of a bigger transformation.
Being a health worker is not just about showing up at health facilities, giving medicine, or doing check-ups. It means understanding the root causes of poverty, inequality, lack of access, harmful norms, and the socio-political forces that affect entire communities. Through the lens of the Universal Health Care (UHC) I came to see that health is a right, and our role is to ensure it reaches everyone, especially the underserved.
MSPH didnโt just give me knowledge. It gave me vision. It taught me to listen more, to lead with empathy, and to serve with both competence and compassion.
Thatโs why I wholeheartedly encourage other health care professionals to enroll at AMEC. This isnโt just a school itโs a space where your struggles are understood, your service is deepened, and your purpose is strengthened. If youโve ever felt that youโre meant to do more, to go beyond routine work and become part of lasting change, this is the path. This is the sign."
