ORAL HEALTH MONTH

Last February the Lemery Primary Care Facility spearheaded the Oral Health Month Celebration in Barangay Nasapahan, Lemery. Dr. Mary Joy Falcis-Taberna, Municipal Dentist led the activity together with the Provincial Health Office. They provided dental check up to mothers and flouride varnish to children. They also gave oral hygiene kits to target individuals..

Free Chest X-Ray through the courtesy of International Care Ministry (ICM) conducted last January 23, 2024 at Brgy Gerongan, Lemery, Iloilo where 300 clients were catered. This initiative was a big help for Active TB Case Detection Activity in the municipality.

IN PHOTOS: Dr. Helen Grace R. Palmejar and Incah Geline Alasa personally visited Regional Director, Dr. Adriano P. Suba-an and handed the invitation for the ground breaking ceremony of Lemery Super Health Center this coming February. The said health facility will be funded by the Department of Health in order to enhance and strenghthen the provision of health services in the municipality.

Lemery Rural Health Unit (RHU) was granted license as Primary Care Facility.

Lemery RHU is one of the few medical facilities in the province of Iloilo to have received the License to Operate Certificate for Primary Care Facilities (PCF) from the Department of Health's Regulation, Licensing and Enforcement Division (DOH-RLED).

This certification attests to Lemery RHU's unwavering commitment to advancing and safeguarding the public's health as well as its exceptional performance in achieving the objectives of universal health care.

Congratulations to all staff, especially Dr. Helen Grace Rendon-Palmejar, who works relentlessly to manage and lead thr RHU.
