Lerma Ocampo Bernales, Phd, Rpm, LPT, is a distinguished Special Needs Education (SNED) professional and dedicated educator recognized for her exemplary leadership, innovation, and unwavering commitment to inclusive education. Currently based in Parañaque City and serving at Signal Village National High School, she has devoted her career to advancing high-quality education for diverse learners and empowering both students and fellow educators through best teaching practices, pedagogical excellence, and compassionate service.

With more than two decades of meaningful academic contribution, Bernales has been honored with prestigious accolades including the DepEd NCR Outstanding Proficient Teacher Award 2025, Huwarang G**o 2025, Distinguished Alumna in Educational Innovation (2024), Distinctive Leadership Excellence in Education Asia Award (2020), and Gawad Primero LCP Champion – Dry Run/Simulation (2020). These recognitions reflect her influential role in educational leadership, program innovation, and advocacy for inclusive learning environments.
