Ngayong National Health Emergency Preparedness Day, muling pinaaalalahanan tayo na ang kalusugan ay pinakamahalagang puhunan—lalo na sa panahon ng krisis. Ang kahandaan sa mga health emergencies ay hindi lamang tungkulin ng pamahalaan o mga institusyon; ito ay responsibilidad ng bawat sambahayan at bawat mamamayan.

Mga Paalala para sa Ligtas at Handang Komunidad:
• Panatilihin ang sapat na suplay ng pangunahing gamot at first-aid essentials sa bahay.
• Alamin ang pinakamalapit na ospital, health center, at mga emergency hotlines sa inyong lugar.
• Siguraduhing updated ang inyong medical information, lalo na para sa may maintenance medication at espesyal na pangangailangan.
• Sundin ang mga health advisories mula sa opisyal na ahensiya at maging mapanuri sa balitang inyong ibinabahagi.
• Paigtingin ang tamang kalinisan, wastong nutrisyon, at pangangalaga sa katawan upang mapalakas ang resistensya.

Ang pagkakaroon ng kaalaman, kahandaan at disiplina ay nagsisilbing sandata ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino sa pagharap sa anumang health emergency. Sa sama-samang aksyon, mas nagiging matatag ang ating komunidad at mas napapangalagaan ang buhay.

Your ears, nose and throat play essential roles in hearing, breathing, balance, speech, and sleep. Many ENT problems start quietly—such as sinusitis, allergies, hearing loss, ear infections, hoarseness, snoring, or persistent throat pain—and can worsen if not checked early.

𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫:

• Persistent ear pain or hearing changes
• Dizziness or ringing in the ears
• Chronic nasal congestion or sinus pressure
• Long-lasting sore throat or hoarseness
• Snoring or breathing difficulty during sleep

Early consultation with an ENT specialist helps prevent complications and ensures proper diagnosis and treatment.

On this 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, we honor and celebrate the strength, creativity and achievements of persons with disabilities around the world.

𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝

The successfully convened on November 28 to conduct a comprehensive review of the municipality’s ongoing health programs and to discuss strategic directions for the coming months. This meeting served as an important platform for assessing current public health conditions, identifying service gaps, and reinforcing collaborative efforts among stakeholders to ensure the continuous improvement of healthcare delivery in Lingayen.

Key agenda items included the evaluation of local health indicators, updates on the implementation of community-based health initiatives and the formulation of action plans aimed at strengthening preventive healthcare, improving access to essential services and enhancing the efficiency of local health facilities. Members of the Board also discussed ways to support the health workforce, intensify health promotion activities and address emerging health concerns within the municipality.

The Municipal Government of Lingayen extends its profound gratitude to 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚 “𝐈𝐝𝐚𝐲” 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚ñ𝐞𝐝𝐚 for her unwavering support, steadfast leadership and genuine commitment to promoting the well-being of every Lingayenense. Her consistent guidance and advocacy for strengthening the municipality’s health programs continue to inspire the board and all local health partners to pursue excellence in public service.

The Local Health Board likewise acknowledges the dedication of its members and community health workers whose collective efforts play a crucial role in ensuring that Lingayen remains proactive and responsive in meeting the health needs of its constituents.
