Today we prompted our final Peer Journal relating to Mother’s Day and our fellow Peerkada, Vera, opens her heart sharing how if given the chance she’d give back every cent her mom spent raising her, just to return the love and care she’s received. 🎁

It’s all about quality time and giving back to the one who gave everything. ✨

Truly, a beautiful reminder of a daughter's love. 💖

"Caregiving is just a duty”

For our Peer Busting Myths and Exposing Facts 🤔, we want to address the myth that dismisses the very weight many caregivers carry. Caregiving can be emotionally draining, physically exhausting, and deeply isolating. 😰

When someone consistently puts another’s needs above their own, it can lead to burnout, loss of identity, and even dehumanization. 😓 Caregiving is love in action, yes but it also requires support 🫂, recognition 🎖️, and care for the caregiver too. 💛

Let’s not take caregivers for granted and treat them as humans too since not all the time we depend on those who help us will always be patient with those they care of. 🫂
