I made some pancakes today! But before you judge, remember: it was my first time making them, and I’m still not sure how to flip them properly.
But here’s the thing: at least I tried.
Did you miss your step goal today? At least you tried.
Did your child refuse that fruit or vegetable you offered? At least you tried.
Did your student not get all the answers you hoped for? At least you tried.
Progress is the key. In those little “at least you tried” moments, you build confidence, and you feel more empowered to show up again until it becomes what you want it to be.
In feeding and in serving meals, that’s the heart of it: trying, learning, and nurturing—one small step at a time.
