The Los Baños Science Community Foundation Inc. (LBSCFI) proudly presents the 3rd Annual Fun Run: Hakbang para sa Agham (Step for Science), happening on October 26 (Sunday) at the scenic grounds of IRRI and UPOU.

This year, we’re leveling up with 3K, 5K, and now a 10K category. Already in its 3rd year, and we’re just getting started! Registration opens on September 1, 2025.

✨ Drones in Action at SyenSaya 2025! 🚁💡

Day 3 of the 16th Los Baños SyenSaya Science Festival lit up UPLB Freedom Park with an exciting Drone Show! Organized by the UPLB Robotics and Instrumentation Studies Center , students, kids, and science enthusiasts got hands-on experience in flying and maneuvering drones. From first-time flyers to future tech innovators, the energy and curiosity in the air were truly inspiring!

A fusion of creativity and knowledge unfolded at the Art & Science Festivities 🎭🔎during third day of the 16th Los Baños SyenSaya Science Festival.✨

Students from the Philippine High School for the Arts captivated audiences with their poems, stories, and songs, while volunteers from UPLB Ugnayan ng Pahinungod brought literature to life through readings of short stories from the UPLB CAS Department of Humanities, UPLB Department of Social Sciences, and UPLB DevCom students as part of their Reading Enhancement and Appreciation Development (READ) Project.

Science Comes Alive at ! ✨🔬

The thrill of discovery continued on Day 2 at Baker Hall as kids, parents, and students dove into the wonders of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at the “Explore, Discover, and Be Amazed” interactive science experience!

From hands-on experiments to mind-blowing simulations, participants got up close with scientific phenomena, sparking curiosity, excitement, and a deeper love for learning.
