Weight Management | Hindi pwedeng gamot lang; both diet and exercise are important in weight management.

Diet affects weight loss more kaysa sa physical activity. Pero mahalaga ang role ng exercise lalo na para di bumalik ang na-lose mong timbang. Losing weight with diet alone at walang exercise ay maari ring magdulot ng weakness ng katawan. With exercise, maiiwasang ma-lose ang bone and muscle mass.

Tandaan din na dapat maging mindful tayo sa kinakain. Makikita sa baba na sa panandaliang pagkain ng nga empty calorie foods, kinakailangan ng oras-oras na exercise para lamang ma-burn ang mga calories na ito. Kaya naman isang mabisang pundasyon ng weight loss ay exercise more and cut down your calories.

HEART HEALTH | Please be careful with your heart ❤️

Diabetes can affect your heart. Maaari itong magdulot ng damage sa blood vessels, heart attack, o heart failure. Lalo nang mas mataas ang risk kung mataas ang iyong sugars, BP, timbang, cholesterol, o kung ikaw ay naninigarilyo, umiinom ng labis na alak at wala masyadong physical activity.

Pero, you can improve your heart health by changing some lifestyle habits-follow a healthy diet, sapat na hydration, pag-iwas sa sigarilyo at labis na alcohol, at regular na exercise. Lahat ng ito, kasama ng angkop na gamot sa diabetes, ay maaaring makatulong upang maiwasan ang mga komplikasyon sa puso.
