The QPHN-Quezon Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology proudly joins the Nationwide Cervical Cancer Screening Day on May 23, 2024, at Mauban, Quezon.

Together with the Philippine Society of Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy (PSCPC), POGS_STC, and IPHO, we are one with the nation in promoting awareness, early detection, and prevention of cervical cancer—because every Filipina deserves access to life-saving screening services.

In support of the Nationwide Cervical Cancer Screening Day led by PSCPC this May 23, the QPHN-QMC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology stands united in the call to raise awareness, encourage screening, and save lives.

📍Cervical cancer remains one of the most common yet preventable cancers among women. Through regular Pap smears, HPV testing, and early treatment of precancerous lesions, we can stop this disease before it starts.

Let’s protect the health and future of every Filipina.

Ang ultrasound ay ginagamit upang makita ang fetus at mga reproductive organs tulad ng uterus, ovaries. Tumutulong ito sa pagmamanman ng pagbubuntis, pagtukoy ng mga komplikasyon, at pagsusuri ng mga matris at obaryo tulad ng bukol sa obaryo at myoma.

Ang ultrasound ay available sa Department of OB-Gyn.

Ang preterm labor ay ang pagsisimula ng regular na paghilab ng tiyan bago umabot sa 37 linggo ng pagbubuntis. Tinatayang 1 sa bawat 10 panganganak sa buong mundo ay preterm birth. Ang epekto nito ay hindi lamang nagdudulot ng emosyonal, mental, pisikal, at pinansyal na hirap, kundi maaari rin itong magdulot ng pangmatagalang epekto.
