Even if symptoms improve, TB bacteria may still be in your body. Stopping treatment early leads to drug-resistant TB, making it harder to cure.

💡 Stick to the plan: Always complete the full 6-month TB treatment to prevent relapse and protect others.

💊 Is TB curable?

✅ Yes! With the right antibiotics taken for at least 6 months, TB bacteria can be completely eliminated. Stopping treatment too soon can cause drug-resistant TB, which is much harder to cure.

💡 Complete the cure: TB treatment is FREE at government health centers. Seek medical help early and finish your medication!

🛑 Think TB is inherited? Think again!
TB doesn’t run in families—it spreads through the air, not through genes. If someone in your home has TB, it doesn’t mean you’ll automatically get it. Proper ventilation, early treatment, and preventive care can keep you safe!

💡 Stay protected: If a family member has TB, get screened at your nearest health center. TB Preventive Treatment (TPT) can stop infection before it becomes active.

Magkaisa tayo para sa malinis na kapaligiran at tamang sanitasyon! Sama-sama nating gawin ang W.O.R.M.S. para sa mas malusog na komunidad!

👏 W - Wash Hands / Maghugas ng kamay nang maigi gamit ang sabon at tubig.

🚽 O - Observe proper use of toilet / Gumamit ng palikuran nang maayos at laging panatilihing malinis.

🍲 R - Reduce exposure to unwashed, uncooked, and undercooked food / Iwasan ang hilaw, hindi nahuhugasan o kulang sa luto na pagkain.

✅ M - Mass Deworming / Magpapurga

👟 S - Sapatos o tsinelas ay suotin

👨‍⚕️ Kung nakakaramdam ng sintomas ng sakit tulad ng Soil-transmitted Helminthiasis (STH), magtungo agad sa pinakamalapit na health center para magpakonsulta.
