To the public who feel jealous of doctors for their earnings and complain about the consultation fees they receive… Here’s a little explanation:

When you were enjoying your high school days, he/she was the one who couldn't share that happiness, buried in books and stress.

When you slept peacefully from 9 PM to 6 AM, he/she managed with just 5 to 6 hours of sleep.

While you were enjoying beers and outings during your first year of college, he/she was the one shedding tears over cadavers.

When you started looking for boys/girls to date, he/she was busy drawing histology diagrams with eosin and hematoxylin.

When you were planning your wedding in final year, we were still struggling with Medicine and Obstetrics.

When you got married, we couldn’t even consider it — we were preparing for postgraduate entrance exams.

When you started earning, we were still working like slaves during our PG training.

This journey continues… even now.

A doctor usually settles and starts earning properly only after the age of 35.

A study published by the American Journal of Infection Control last Feb 2024 had determine that closing the lid does not completely prevent the spread of virus before flushing the toilet. 🚽 What is still recommended is to disinfect ALL restroom surfaces ….and then properly wash your hands 🧼🧻with soap and water every after toilet use or cleaning. If you have a sick person at home🤢, it is important to disinfect it more often.

Did you know that not all tablets or capsules should be taken at the same time since there could be drug-to-drug interactions?💊💊Take for example Ascorbic Acid and Vitamin B12 supplements. High doses of Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid can lessen the absorption of Vitamin B12 so it is recommended to have at least two hours gap in between, before taking.(MayoClinic) Always mention all medicines and supplements you are taking when u see your Internal Medicine doctor.🩺

To play & dance in the light rain as long as there is no strong winds, nor lightning & thunder may be a great way de-stress & have some fun - promoting their sense of wonder & freedom! But make sure to dress them properly (suitable boots or raincoats) 🌂☂️☔️and not leave them unattended. Avoid swimming or playing in flooded places especially with poor drainage or sewage though. 🙅🏻‍♀️Document or take pictures 📸 When you and the rest of the family had fun, head immediately inside and have a warm bath.🛀🛁🚻 . Disinfect any skin cuts with antiseptic as soon as possible!
