A Story of Strength and Hope ✨❤️💪🏼

Salvacion Oppus Yñiguez Memorial Provincial Hospital proudly celebrates the remarkable journey of a former Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patient who was born weighing only 700 grams and is now a healthy and thriving 6-year-old child.

Swert Miracle Dawa’s early days were marked by challenges that required specialized care. Under the dedicated management of our Pediatricians, DR. ROCHELYN PAGPAGUITAN-ORAIS, DR. ARLENE NUÑEZ, DR. LEA CATAN, and DR. RHEA CADAVOS, and the NICU Nurses, the patient was admitted to the SOYMPH NICU for three weeks last JUNE 2019 before being referred to the Eastern Visayas Medical Center (EVMC) for further management. After about a month of care there, the patient was discharged with a weight of 1.4 kg—a significant milestone in her journey.

The SOYMPH ManCom expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the healthcare team for their dedication and commitment, and to the family for their unwavering trust and partnership. Through their combined efforts and resilience, this inspiring success story was made possible.

SOYMPH remains steadfast in its mission to provide compassionate, high-quality, and life-saving care to every patient entrusted to its care.

The Expanded Youth Leadership and Governance Program (EYLGP) Retreat & Colloquium is more than just a gathering — it is a movement to inspire young leaders, strengthen communities, and take a united stand against teenage pregnancy.

Our deepest gratitude to the Zuellig Family Foundation and UNFPA for spearheading this advocacy and walking alongside us in shaping informed, empowered, and responsible youth. Ebanghelyo – Lucas 9:28b‑36

Si Jesus midala kang Pedro, Juan, ug Santiago ngadto sa usa ka bukid aron mag-ampo. Samtang siya nag-ampo, ang iyang dagway miusab ug ang iyang sinina misidlak ug misanag sama sa kaputi nga nagdan-ag. Mitungha si Moises ug si Elias sa himaya ug nakig-estorya kaniya bahin sa iyang paglakaw padulong sa Jerusalem.

Tungod sa kapoy, nakatulog ang mga tinun-an apan sa ilang pagmata, nakita nila ang himaya ni Jesus. Si Pedro, nga wala pa makasabot pag-ayo, miingon:

“Ginoo, maayo nga ania kami dinhi. Maghimo kita ug tulo ka tulda: alang Kanimo, alang kang Moises, ug alang kang Elias.”

Samtang nagasulti siya, miabut ang usa ka panganod ug mipalibot kanila. Ug usa ka tingog gikan sa panganod miingon:

“Kini mao ang akong Gipili nga Anak; pamati kamo kaniya.”

Pagkahuman sa tingog, si Jesus na lang ang ilang nakita. Ug wala sila magsulti ni bisan unsa bahin sa ilang nakita niadto nga panahona.
