Sometimes, it takes a while for me to reply because I have other things to do. Again, when your doctor personally replies to you, it is a privilege and not a right. If it is an emergency, go to the emergency room. If the question can wait na itanong sa clinic, itanong during consultation sa clinic. Also, we are humans too and we need our personal time. When we are on break, you don’t just break in to our clinic doors to do a casual consult.

Rule is, if it can’t wait, go to the Emergency Room.

The best place for a proper consultation is still the clinic, face to face. So when a doctor takes time to reply to you outside of that, be grateful—it’s a sign that they truly care.

Here’s a guide kung paano ang tamang paraan para magmessage sa amin 💕

How Not to Talk to Your Doctor (And What to Say Instead)
(a friendly guide for better healthcare conversations)

- Diagnosis
- Management / Advice / Recommendation
- Days of rest

Respectful messages go a long way.

❌ "Doc.."..
"Pwede magtanong?" ..
✅ "Good morning doc, tanong ko lang po (insert concern here). Thank you doc."
💡Kapag may context ang message (Anong tanong? Tungkol saan?) mas mabilis at maayos kaming makakasagot.
Hindi din lahat ng doctor ay open for online consultation so check your doctor's consultation availability first.

Here’s to giving you more advanced and cutting edge options for your gynecologic concerns!

Doc Mike, your trusted OBGYN, recently took the first step in becoming a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon. This gives us the opportunity to offer and perform basic diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy (for people in the non-medical field, eto po yung parang laser or nagpapasok ng camera sa loob ng matres o tiyan to diagnose certain conditions and even do surgeries), with the help of a PSGE fellow, in hospitals equipped with minimally invasive surgery machines. It still is a long way to go before we can be able to do complicated laparoscopic surgeries on our own pero sabi nga, “istep by the istep bago ka sumakses.” For now, basic procedures muna.

Book a consultation with me regarding your gynecologic concerns and to know if you are good candidate for these procedures! I keep on learning to offer you the best care possible! Indeed, 💖
