Last Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the College of Veterinary Medicine successfully conducted the “Doctor of Veterinary Medicine: A Program for All Genders – Pre-Employment and OJT Preparation Seminar,” a significant event designed to help senior clinicians transition confidently into post-graduate life and guide junior clinicians as they prepare for their on-the-job training.
With insightful talks, personal reflections, and expert guidance, the seminar provided essential tools and perspectives to help participants navigate the next stages of their veterinary journey.
We were honored by the presence of the University President and Vice President, whose support reflects the institution’s continued commitment to the holistic growth and empowerment of its students.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to our esteemed resource speakers, who represented various specialties within veterinary medicine, as well as experts from the Gender and Development (GAD) Program, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Engineering. Their diverse backgrounds enriched the discussions on professionalism, time management, and inclusivity in the workplace.
