The BRHMC IPC Team coordinated with Mr. Farouk S. Romangcap, RSW, Head of the MSSD and Municipal Social Worker, for the conduct of a Hand Hygiene Lecture and Demonstration for the 4Ps beneficiaries of Barangay Satan, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sir Anwar Daril Sinsuat, Municipal Link, as well as to the Barangay Captain and Barangay Treasurer of Barangay Satan for their warm welcome and unwavering support to the activity. JazakAllahu Khairan for giving the BRHMC IPC Team the opportunity to participate in the Family Development Session (FDS).

Indeed, the activity was a great success as mothers and fathers were given the opportunity to actively perform proper handwashing and alcohol-based hand rub techniques, promoting the importance of hand hygiene in preventing infections and saving lives.

May 4, 2026 | First Monday Flag Ceremony and World Hand Hygiene Day Kick-Off 🇵🇭

The BRHMC and IPHO-Maguindanao successfully conducted the First Monday of the Month Flag Ceremony highlighted by important updates from the Human Resource Unit and the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Unit.

The activity also marked the Kick-Off Celebration of "World Hand Hygiene Day" observed every May 5, promoting the importance of proper hand hygiene in ensuring patient safety and infection prevention. A handwashing demonstration was likewise conducted to reinforce awareness and best practices among healthcare workers and staff. 🧼✨
