The training aimed to equip new staff with essential knowledge and practical skills on infection prevention, proper use of PPE, hand hygiene, and standard precautions—key components in reducing healthcare-associated infections and ensuring patient and staff safety.

Fostering a Culture of Quality and Excellence! 💯🏥💚

Maguindanao Provincial Hospital conducted a Comprehensive Internal Quality Audit Training for ISO 9001:2015 on June 23-27, 2025. This intensive five-day activity aimed to build the skills and confidence of hospital personnel in establishing and maintaining an effective quality management system that meets international standards. Participants engaged in in-depth lectures, workshops, and group exercises focused on process auditing, compliance assessment, risk management, and continuous improvement strategies. On the final day, a Mock Audit was conducted to simulate real audit scenarios, allowing participants to practice evaluating processes, identifying gaps, and providing constructive feedback.

This training is part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to secure ISO 9001:2015 certification, reflecting its commitment to excellence and accountability in healthcare delivery. It also supports the broader goal of transitioning into the Bangsamoro Regional Hospital and Medical Center and elevating services for communities across the BARMM region.
