MPH Pharmacy Department successfully celebrated the 37th Generics Awareness Month with the theme “Ginhawang Generics, Ramdam ng Bawat Pilipino.” 💊

This celebration was spearheaded by Ma’am Althea Fatima A. Japitana, Chief Pharmacist of MPH, together with the dedicated Pharmacy Department team on September 24, 2025.

The event underscored the importance of generic OTC medicines in providing safe, effective, and affordable healthcare for every Filipino. 🩺✨

Our outpatients and selected staff actively joined in the fun and learning through:
📌 Informative flyers
📌 Awareness on OTC generic medicines
📌 Interactive interviews with random participants
📌 Fun photobooth sessions
📌 Special tokens (mugs & tumblers)
📌 Delicious merienda
📌 Lively Q&A games with cash prizes 🎁💵

This activity is in line with the Department of Health’s (DOH) goal of promoting proper knowledge and use of generics as part of its broader advocacy for accessible and quality healthcare services for all.
