School tips:

1. Pabakunahan ang inyong mga anak.
2. Wag magVAPE at Manigarilyo
3. Iwasan ang mga lugar na may polusyon
4. Para sa mga may hika, aiwasan ang mga triggers, at laging dalhin o itake ang inhaler
5. Kumain ng masustansya
6. Magexercise at igalaw ang katawan at least 1 hr a day
7. Maghugas ng kamay, at least 20sec with soap and water. Or gumamit ng sanitizer.

ONCE AND FOR ALL, LET’S PUT AN END TO THIS.

So this happened, a friend messaged me, if I could be of help to his friend. He forwarded the concern to me and I was shocked. (I am not the pediatrician of the baby btw.)

Let this be a gentle reminder that we doctors have our own clinic schedules. Meaning, all concerns should be addressed during the clinic hours. FACEBOOK PAGES AND MESSENGERS ARE NOT YOUR CONVENIENT EMERGENCY HOTLINES. If your doctor is not around, I’m sure there are other doctors who are. 🙂

My patients know that I reply to their concerns especially when I have seen the patients PERSONALLY at the clinics, or if I am waiting for additional laboratory results, mostly with no extra charge.

pages and messengers are not intended to replace face-to-face consults, or even be your last option when you choose to self medicate and consult tiktok.😒

Please do not normalize getting mad if you do not receive an immediate response from your doctors, without knowing that they are busy hospital - or clinic - hopping (kadalasan di lang po isang lugar iniikutan ng mga yan), while you are waiting with a cellphone on hand at the comfort of your home. 😔

A little appreciation goes a loooooong way especially when your doctor finds time to reply even to your simplest queries. 🙂🙏

Btw, advised him to bring the child to her pedia, because I’m sure it was not the pedia’s idea to give delight hihi😬✌️

With readily available cell phones, tablets, game devices, and more, screens are not only easy to access but also hard to avoid these days.

We understand there will be screen time, but not all screens are created equal. Just remember to set clear guidelines, such as time limits, and ensure these programs are both child-friendly and of high quality.

🚨 DOH: ‘WAG GUMAMIT NG DOXYCYCLINE NANG WALANG RESETA🚨

Ang doxycycline ay isang antibiotic na ginagamit laban sa Leptospirosis.

Kapag mali ang pag-inom, pwedeng mawalan ito ng bisa laban sa mga mikrobyo at maging mas mahirap gamutin ang simpleng impeksyon. Pwede itong humantong sa matagal o mas matinding pagkakasakit.

Nakadepende ang pag-inom ng doxycycline sa exposure o risk level ng taong nalubog sa baha.

Payo ng DOH, magpatingin sa doktor para sa tamang reseta sa paggamit ng antibiotic na ito.

WALA pong CLINIC sa JULY 9 - 23. Wala din pong online consultation.
Maaga na po ang manghihingi ng pasensya kung hindi din po kayo or late po kayo masasagot sa inyong mga PM sa mga araw nito.

Kung kinakailangan ng agaran lunas, or kelangan macheckup ang inyong anak maaari muna silang dalhin sa mga kasamahan kong Pedia sa Room 233 Holy Family. Or kung emergency, dalhin sa pinakamalapit na emergency room.
