We encourage everyone, especially those experiencing cough, colds, or other respiratory symptoms, to take advantage of this free health service. Early detection helps keep our community healthy and safe. 💙

The Mulondo Rural Health Unit, led by Dr. Noraida S. Dima, successfully conducted a re-echo training on the latest Field Health Services Information System (FHSIS) updates, specifically focusing on the FHSIS 2026 New Indicators.

This training aims to improve health statistical indicators and reporting starting in CY 2026. The FHSIS will help local governments determine health priorities, monitor program implementation, and support planning, budgeting, and decision-making. Ultimately, this will enhance the RHU’s healthcare services.

The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Mulondo, under the leadership of our active and dedicated Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Noraida S. Dima, successfully conducted the Purok Kalusugan at Barangay Lama.

Guided by the Theme: "Sa Bangsamoro, Bawat Buhay Mahalaga,". This initiative highlights our continuing commitment to bring quality primary healthcare services closer to the grassroots level. By adopting a community-centered approach, we ensure that health services are not only accessible but also responsive to the unique needs of every individual and family in the barangay. Through this effort, we strengthen community participation, promote preventive care, and empower residents to take an active role in their health and well-being.

✨ Services delivered during the Purok Kalusugan included:

✅ Medical consultation with free dispensing of medicines
✅ PhilHealth registration and First Patient Encounter assistance
✅ Routine and catch-up immunization services
✅ Distribution of essential micronutrient supplements (Vitamin A, Iron, Folic Acid, Micronutrient Powders, and Multivitamins)
✅ Comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care services
✅ Counseling and provision of family planning commodities
✅ Risk assessment, screening, and monitoring for hypertension and diabetes
✅ Provision of maintenance medications for hypertensive and diabetic patients
✅ Adolescent health awareness sessions and HPV vaccination
✅ Health education on various priority health concerns

This successful activity reflects the power of collaboration and shared responsibility in achieving better health outcomes for our communities.

✨ World Immunization Week 2026 💉🌍

In celebration of World Immunization Week 2026, guided by the global theme “For Every Generation, Vaccines Work,” and the localized theme “Bakuna at Proteksyon ni Baby, My Responsibility,” we reaffirm the importance of protecting our children—especially those aged 0–23 months—through timely, complete, and life-saving immunization.

The RHU Mulondo, under the stewardship of our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Noraida Dima, remains steadfast in its commitment to deliver quality, safe, and accessible immunization services to the community. Through the continued dedication of our healthcare workers, strengthened health education campaigns, and strong partnership with parents and caregivers, we aim to ensure that no child is left unprotected against vaccine-preventable diseases.

As part of this observance, health teaching sessions and community awareness activities were conducted to further emphasize the importance of immunization. These efforts aim to address misconceptions, strengthen understanding, and encourage families to complete their children’s vaccination schedules on time.

Immunization is a shared responsibility that requires collective action. When parents bring their children for complete and timely vaccination, health workers provide quality services, and the community actively supports these efforts, we build a stronger defense against disease outbreaks. Each vaccinated child contributes to the protection of others, especially infants, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immunity.

Ultimately, by working together, we are not only protecting individual children but also fostering a healthier, safer, and more resilient community for the present and future generations.

✨ Mulondo Rural Health Unit headed by our ever service-oriented MHO, Dr. Noraida Dima proudly celebrated Women’s Month 2026 with a theme: "We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society", in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Mulondo, the Ministry of Social Services and Development, the Mulondo Municipal Police Station, and the Tamkin Al-Mar'ah on March 31, 2026, held at Barangay Bubong Guilopa, Mulondo.

The celebration honored the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women in the community. Through unity and partnership, the event served as a reminder of the important role of women in building a healthier, stronger, and more empowered society.

We would like to express our appreciation to all attendees, especially, Hon. Councilor Amenollah Panandigan Mala, Hon. Anisa Bacarat, Hon. Omel S. Cosain, Hon. Esnaira Didato and Hon. Nihaya Copang.

As part of the Women’s Month 2026 celebration;

💐 The Local Government Unit of Mulondo spearheaded by our LCE, Hon. Mayor Abdul Hakim O. Panandigan, represented by our Former Mayor now our First Lady, Hon. Nihara Macabando Panandigan, who shared her experience and journey as the mother of our community and to her family. Also, extended financial assistance to all 50 pregnant mothers who attended the Women’s Month 2026 celebration. In addition, snacks were provided to all participants in attendance, making the celebration more meaningful and enjoyable for everyone.

This generous support reflects the commitment of the Local Government Unit to the welfare of mothers and the community. Our sincere gratitude to the LGU of Mulondo for their continued care and support. 💜

🌺 The Ministry of Social Services and Development under the leadership of MSWO Ma'am Hass SD, Hassana S. Dicasaran, RSW, distributed 25 kilograms of rice and grocery boxes to our 50 pregnant beneficiaries. This meaningful gesture reflects the continuing commitment of the Ministry of Social Services and Development to support and empower women and families in the community.

🪷 The Mulondo Municipal Police Station in the representation of VAWC Focal, Pat Maima L. Tampogao, conducted an informative discussion on women’s rights as human rights. The session emphasized the importance of protecting, respecting, and promoting the rights of every woman, while encouraging the community to stand against all forms of discrimination and violence.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Mulondo Municipal Police Station for sharing valuable knowledge and for supporting the empowerment of women in our community. 💜

🪻Lastly, The “Buntis Party” was one of the highlights of the Women’s Month 2026 celebration, bringing together 50 pregnant mothers. The activity aimed to promote maternal health, provide support and encouragement to expectant mothers, and recognize the important role they play in the family and community.

Through the support of the Local Government Unit of Mulondo and partner agencies, the event became a meaningful and joyful celebration for all mothers in attendance. 💜
