This weekend gave me so much hope and inspiration for the future of Reiki and holistic wellness.

I had the honor of being interviewed by Pharma students from CEU Manila for their ICAM (Integrative and Complementary and Alternative Medicine) subject.

Seeing Reiki being explored in academic spaces is such a powerful sign that mindsets are evolving — and that openness to integrative healing is growing.

I also attended the Philippine Reiki Council General Assembly, where we discussed the revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) that will guide how the TAMA Law of 1997 supports practices like Reiki moving forward. From what I understand, the updated TAMA Law is already on its second reading in Congress.

Moments like these are a reminder: advocacy matters. Conversations matter. Every small step matters.

I’m grateful to be part of this community — and excited for what lies ahead as we continue integrating holistic wellness into the broader landscape of wellness and healthcare.

‘Why am I still struggling? I focus on positivity, yet problems keep piling up… what am I doing wrong?’

A client asked me this recently—and it hit deep.

Here’s the truth:
🎯 No amount of forced affirmations can bypass the full range of human experience.

Let go of the canned positivity.
Return to honest, grounded self-talk.

Start by asking yourself:
💗 What am I truly feeling right now?
💗 What do I need in this moment?
💗 What would I say to a friend going through this?

You don’t need to fake being okay.
You just need to show up for yourself—with truth, with care, — and most especially with compassion.

That’s where healing begins.
