TAN LEE HIONG from Medan, Indonesia, was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer after months of persistent coughing. A CT scan revealed a 9 cm tumor, and doctors in both Penang and Indonesia advised that no advanced treatment options were available locally.

In 2016, she sought treatment at St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, where a multidisciplinary team designed a personalized plan using interventional therapy and cryotherapy. After two treatment cycles, her symptoms improved significantly, and scans showed a clear reduction in tumor size with minimal side effects.

Vu Thi Canh, a 78-year-old ovarian cancer patient living in the Czech Republic, developed severe abdominal distension during a visit to Vietnam in early 2016. After initial tests showed no abnormalities, further examinations in Singapore confirmed ovarian cancer with massive ascites.

She underwent chemotherapy in Singapore and surgery in Vietnam, but the cancer recurred with widespread abdominal metastasis and limited treatment options. Her family then sought care at St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou.

In March 2016, she began treatment and received eight sessions of interventional therapy and two sessions of natural therapy. Her abdominal cancer lesions disappeared, and symptoms such as abdominal distension and limb numbness resolved after the third treatment. She experienced no major side effects aside from mild insomnia.

Currently, Vu Thi Canh is in good condition, able to move around independently, and preparing for discharge to return home and reunite with her family.
