Looking further into the future of eye care at the Vietnam Ophthalmology Society (VOS) 2025 meeting in Hai Phong, our Transmedic Ophthalmology team connected with more than 2,000 clinicians to explore the latest developments shaping the future of eye care. Across the three-day event, our booth saw strong interest in the TELEON Lentis Comfort platform and the MPLUS family — two intraocular lens solutions redefining standards in modern cataract management.

Our Lunch Symposium further deepened these conversations with practical clinical insights:

• Dr. Ch’Ng Tun Wang outlined the principles and benefits of segmental refractive optics with the MPLUS Family.

• Dr. Robert Ang shared his experience with Extended Depth of Focus outcomes from 76 Lentis Comfort implants.

Their expertise offered clinicians clear, real-world guidance on how these technologies elevate patient outcomes.

The INASCRS INDEPTH Meeting 2025 marked an exciting milestone for our Transmedic Ophthalmology Team as we continue to strengthen our presence and partnerships within Indonesia’s fast-growing ophthalmology sector. Held on November 7–8 at the Pullman Hotel Central Park Jakarta, the event brought together leading clinicians, innovators, and industry partners united by a shared commitment to advancing cataract and refractive surgery.

Our team was proud to be part of the momentum as an exhibitor, presenting a dynamic portfolio of advanced ophthalmic technologies. With the support of our valued partners—Teleon, BlephEx, LLC., Advanced Ophthalmic Innovations Pte Ltd, and SERVImed Industrial S.p.A.—we were able to present a strong portfolio of advanced ophthalmic technologies that reflects our commitment to delivering impactful, clinically trusted solutions.

A significant and exciting step forward for our Ophthalmology team, as we brought regional clinicians together in Kuala Lumpur earlier this month for the launch of Teleon’s ACUNEX and Heidelberg Engineering’s ANTERION, setting the stage for focused discussions on the latest developments in IOL and OCT innovation.

The event featured expert insights from an esteemed panel of experts: Dr. Mun Wai Lee, Dr. Robert Yeo Kim Chuan, Dr. Shin Hoy Choong, Dr. Choong Yean Yaw, Dr. Aloysius Joseph Low, who shared their valuable insights about Acunex IOL and Dr. Robert Edward Ang on the next-generation Anterior OCT imaging. Attendees gained a well-rounded view of the evolving ophthalmic landscape and the technologies shaping the future of clinical practice.

A first for the Philippines — and a new era in paediatric eye care!

Our Transmedic Ophthalmology team is proud to partner with National Children’s Hospital for the first installation of the RetCam® Envision Ophthalmic Imaging System in the Philippines.

This installation represents a step forward in advancing retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) screening and training nationwide—delivering sharper imaging, standardised workflows, and a central hub for clinical education.

We would like to thank Dr Claire Barja, Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology, and Dr Beltran Alexis Aclan, MD, MHCM, Paediatric Ophthalmology, for their partnership in advancing paediatric eye care through the adoption of RetCam technology. We look forward to continued collaboration in improving eye outcomes for children across the Philippines.

The Transmedic Ophthalmology Team participated in the 43rd European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) Congress in Copenhagen, where our regional teams continued to drive innovation, exchange expertise, and champion our supplier brands across Southeast Asia.

During a distributor meeting at ESCRS, Teleon recognised the Malaysia team for winning the Outstanding Customer Journey Initiatives Award and gave special acknowledgement to the Philippines team. These achievements reflect our commitment to advancing customer experience and partnerships.

It was an exciting week of scientific exchange and innovation in eye care as the Transmedic Ophthalmology team supported PIT Perdami 2025, which brought together over 3,000 ophthalmologists in Bandung, Indonesia from 3–7 September.

At our booth, we proudly showcased TELEON Premium Intraocular Lenses (IOLs), Healaflow, the Paul Glaucoma Implant (PGI), and our Dry Eye portfolio—sparking meaningful conversations and strengthening awareness.
