40 today.

And honestly, I think I’m entering this season with a deeper understanding of what truly matters.

Not just success.
Not just productivity.
Not just achievement.

But wisdom and discipline.
Peace and perseverance.
Good health.
Strong relationships.
A meaningful life aligned with God, purpose, and the people I love.

One of my biggest breakthroughs in life has been clarity of my calling:
to help people heal.

Physically.
Mentally.
Emotionally.
Spiritually.
Holistically.

And some of my biggest learnings:
to be less attached to outcomes,
to hold people with more grace and less expectation,
and to trust more deeply that God is sovereign.

Life is a beautiful gift.
And no meaningful life is built alone.

As I turn 40,
my heart is full of gratitude.

To my family,
friends,
mentors,
colleagues,
leaders,
patients,
customers,
and communities,
thank you for believing in me, supporting me, praying for me, correcting me, and journeying with me through different seasons of life.

This next decade,
I want to live healthier,
love deeper,
lead wiser,
and steward life better.

And yes…
hopefully earn and steward more resources wisely too. Hehe 😅

Not for ego.
But to create greater impact,
support family,
create opportunities,
and be a blessing to people.

May I continue to live and lead
with love and humility.

The poor need the rich to survive.
The rich need the poor to enter heaven.

Today’s Gospel (The Rich Man and Lazarus) reminds us: the rich man wasn’t condemned because he hurt Lazarus, but because he did nothing for him. That’s the sin of omission.

Sometimes, it’s not what we do, but what we fail to do, our silence, our inaction, that allows suffering to continue. We may not directly harm others, but we are accountable when we close our eyes and hearts to those in need.

May this remind us today: compassion is not optional. Action is love made visible. Do something or use your voice to help.

The world is aching for healing.
Ang daming ingay, nakakabwisit, nakakalungkot at nakakagalit. Yung nagbabasa or nanood ka lang eh tumataas na BP mo. So anong puedeng gawin bukod sa mabwisit at magalit?

I read some posts suggesting in simple, practical ways eto daw puede pa natin gawin:

1. Be involved!! be informed, Repost. Share. Pag usapan. Stand against corruption and greed.
Silence is compliance!!! Hindi puedeng NR. Kasi maiipon yan sa dibdib mo. Need natin ma educate at mang educate.

2. Let kindness be your rebellion. ❤️
Say thank you a lot specially to the service providers (grab drivers, waiters, etc). Appreciate more people, tip generously. Give food to the hungry. Small things, big impact.

3. Find your people – join a community that uplifts. (Can’t find one? Try The Feast 🥰)

4. Take care of your self.
Nakakapang hina ang mga issue ngayon ha. So pray often, walk a lot, breathe, meditate.

In summary, Let’s be intentional in shining our light— for ourselves and for others. Mahaba haba pa ang telenovelang tatahakin natin. 🙏🏻

They say marriage is a journey.
Ours?
More like a Korean series—
With kilig, comedy, cliffhangers,
plot twists we didn’t see coming,
and heartwarming scenes that keep us going.
All while juggling never-ending things to do—
for family, for work, for ministry.

But through every episode—
Ikaw pa rin ang bida ng puso ko.

You are grace in the chaos,
Laughter in the long days,
And the quiet strength that reminds me
God is faithful, and we are never alone.

Thank you for loving me
when I overthink at night,
or when I just go silent at times.
Thank you for choosing me
even when I forget where I placed my things,
miss schedules, or neglect to rest.

Birthdays these days feel less like blowing candles and more like taking a deep breath.

A pitstop to check the engine (of the soul),
refuel with grace,
and maybe change a few tires… or diapers.

Three things I’m learning (again):
— I’m loved. Deeply. Undeservedly.
— I’m happy. Not every second, but in the stuff that matters.
— I’m on a mission. Still figuring it out, but I know Who’s leading.

The road ahead?
Probably bumpy, definitely blessed.

God has been so good—
even when I’m not.
And for that—I keep going, smiling, serving.

Pope Francis has gone ahead of us—peacefully, humbly, just as he lived.

He taught us that true strength is found in mercy. That real leadership is quiet service. That to live like Jesus is to love without conditions.

His life gives us hope—that in a broken world, we can still choose compassion, joy, and faith.

Thank you, Holy Father. We’ll keep walking the way you showed us.
