Mag-ingat sa Leptospirosis! 🦠🌧️

Ngayong panahon ng tag-ulan, mas mataas ang panganib ng pagkakaroon ng leptospirosis—isang seryosong sakit na maaaring makuha mula sa tubig-baha na kontaminado ng ihi ng daga o ibang hayop.

Kung ikaw ay lumusong sa baha, maging mapagmatyag sa mga sumusunod na sintomas:
🔸 Lagnat
🔸 Pananakit ng ulo
🔸 Pananakit ng kalamnan (lalo na sa binti at likod)
🔸 Pamumula ng mata

Huwag balewalain ang mga senyales na ito! Maaaring lumala ang leptospirosis kung hindi agad magagamot.

👉 Kung ikaw ay nakakaramdam ng alinman sa mga sintomas na ito, huwag mag-atubiling pumunta sa Malabon Hospital and Medical Center (MHMC) upang agad na masuri at mabigyan ng karampatang lunas. Mas maiging maagapan kaysa mahuli ang gamutan.

-Generally in good health condition. No recent surgeries or infections.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old
- Weight: Minimum weight of 110 pounds (50 kg)
- Please ensure you are well-hydrated and have eaten a light meal prior to donating.
-Don't drink alcohol and smoke 12 hours prior donating blood.
-Tattoo and body piercing can donate blood provided that they have the tattoo/piercing for at least 1 year.
