1. Meditate
Our first tip for taking care of your mental and spiritual health is meditation. If you have never tried meditation, you may need some encouragement to start to meditate. But believe me, once you get used to meditation and it becomes part of your daily routine, you won’t be able to live your life without it. Maybe you have also heard that many successful people start their day with meditation. This is because they have realized that this healthy habit has numerous benefits for their health. Meditation can help you increase your self-awareness, focus on the present, reduce your daily stress, enhance your patience, and increase your imagination. But that’s not all! The benefits of meditation are nearly endless!

2. Journal

Journaling is a great daily habit to add to your self-care routine. It can help you process your thoughts, feelings, and emotions (both positive and negative, yay!) and deal with your problems and worries. Once you write all those things that crowd your mind down on paper, most likely, you will feel relieved. For example, you can write down your daily events, plans, goals, things you are grateful for, challenges, difficulties, positive affirmations, and many more. DON’T SKIP THE WARM-UP AND COOL-DOWN 🏋🏼‍♀️🏋🏻

These basics help you avoid injury, and they also allow you to mentally prepare and recover from your workout. Rushing through your routine puts you in a frame of mind of just going through the motions, and you want to get all the benefits of your workout. Be sure to hydrate before, during, and after your workout.

📍BREATHE DEEP
During your workout, focus on getting maximum oxygen by connecting with your breathing. Breathe in for four seconds, hold your breath for seven seconds, and then exhale for eight. This slows down your breathing and has a calming effect. It can even help during a stressful work day or if you’re trying to fall asleep.

📍CONNECT WITH YOUR BODY
Pay attention to how you feel during your workout, and really listen to your own body’s cues. Can you work any harder? Are you feeling any pain? Should you slow down? Post-workout stretching is a must, and if you can, work more stretching time into your day. It’s a great way to assess how your muscles are feeling and recuperating.

- protection, comfort, longingness, loved ones, support, affections, desires, and others

🍃 Spirit needs?
- Relationship with God, truth, direction, light, company, family, and others

God cares for all of these. He does sincerely cares for you, for your wholeness. He wants you to be complete, He wants you to prosper. I want to assure you that He will provide for all your needs (Philippians 4:19) Whether it is physical, emotional, relational, intellectual, mental, financial, and spiritual.
