PAGASA reported Wednesday morning that Tropical Depression Dante has intensified into a tropical storm inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, a new system named Tropical Depression Emong has developed from a low-pressure area within PAR.

Another low-pressure area still outside PAR has a high chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours, the weather bureau added.
