As the rainy season sets in, the risk of dengue significantly increases due to the rise in mosquito breeding. The public is strongly reminded to strengthen dengue prevention efforts as the risk of transmission remains very high during this period.
To safeguard your family and neighbors, everyone is urged to implement the
๐๐ง๐ก๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐ฒ:
1. ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฒ mosquito-breeding sites by regularly inspecting surroundings for items or areas where stagnant water may collect, such as discarded tires, flower pots, gutters, water drums and open containers.
2. ๐๐๐ฅ๐-๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง by using insect repellents, wearing long-sleeved clothing, and sleeping under mosquito nets particularly for young children and elderly.
3. ๐๐๐๐ค ๐๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง if experiencing symptoms such as fever, rashes, headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pain, or nausea.
4. ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ ๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ, especially in areas with reported high dengue cases, to help control mosquito populations.
