Raising Awareness, Saving Lives! ✨

On July 24, 2025, the Boracay Advocates Health Alliance, Inc. (BAHA) together with Malay Yapak Mega Health Center PCF / MHO MALAY conducted an essential health talk on Allergies and Anaphylaxis with the dedicated staff of Fairways Blue Waters Boracay.

This timely and informative session empowered resort personnel with the knowledge and skills to recognize early signs of allergic reactions and respond effectively to life-threatening anaphylaxis—a crucial step in ensuring guest safety, staff preparedness, and workplace wellness.

Through this initiative, BAHA continues to strengthen health literacy and build a safer, more responsive community in Boracay.

We proudly extend our warmest congratulations to Boracay Advocates Health Alliance Inc. (BAHA) for officially receiving their Certificate of Incorporation from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on July 22, 2025.

This remarkable milestone signifies BAHA’s formal recognition as a non-stock, non-profit corporation under the Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines (RA 11232). More than just a legal document, this certification solidifies BAHA's juridical identity, allowing it to legally expand its programs, enter into formal partnerships, and secure vital support and resources for its growing health initiatives.

This is only the beginning of a stronger and more empowered BAHA. With this legal foundation, the path ahead is filled with greater possibilities for impact and growth.

OHASIS 1.0 Sunsets 🌆, so we can launch a new one.

We thank all the agencies, organizations, and users, both local and international who have gotten us this far. Thank you for your support for OHASIS 1.0! 👏👏👏

Four years and five months ago, our team had brought forth, upon this Internet, a new website, conceived in accurate data collection, and dedicated to the ideal that HIV data management can be centralized, OHASIS.

Now we have engaged in a great dialogue, learning whether OHASIS can endure as it is but that is not so. With the growing number of records, and many emerging needs of its end users, OHASIS 1.0 has grown old and tired. We come upon this day and lay it to rest, so that the new OHASIS may rise.

OHASIS 1.0 closes its doors at 6pm. 🕕

Promoting Health in the Workplace

On July 23, 2025, the Boracay Advocates Health Alliance Inc. with partnership of Malay Yapak Mega Health Center PCF / MHO MALAY successfully conducted an essential health talk on Tuberculosis (TB), HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and substance abuse with the hardworking construction workers held at Mega Yapak Health Center Primary Care Facility.

The session aimed to raise awareness, break stigma, and empower the workers with knowledge on how to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Following the discussion, BAHA provided FREE HIV screening, Condom, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), and counseling services—taking a big step towards accessible and proactive healthcare for all sectors of the community.

A healthy workforce builds a stronger community.

On July 22, 2025, the Boracay Advocates Health Alliance (BAHA) with partnership of Malay Yapak Mega Health Center PCF / MHO MALAY conducted an essential health talk with the enthusiastic students of Goshen School Boracay at Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.

The session focused on Adolescent Health, HIV awareness, and Substance Abuse—critical topics that aim to equip the youth with the right knowledge, values, and preventive measures to make informed decisions in life.

By fostering awareness at an early age, BAHA continues its commitment to building a healthier and more responsible generation.
