Are you ready for wave 2? The medical clinic is committed to provide quality and care tailored to your health needs. We already talk about understanding your lab results, Hypertension, DM, Dyslipidemia, Hyperuricemia and how to prevent the complications of lifestyle diseases during our health forum. We believe you were advised for a certain Diet.
We would love to see more BUKSU stakeholders that are involved in managing each individual’s health. Our previous data showed that Malnutrition both Undernutririon and Overnutrition is quite prevalent in our institution which is a risk factor of having diseases that can be preventable with informed modified life changing choices.

In line with this, the Medical Clinic warmly invites you to celebrate Nutrition Month with us by attending the event titled “Your Health, Your Nutrition: Integrating Nutrition Prescription in Medical Consultation.” This will take place on July 29, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Medical Clinic.
We have invited a registered nutritionist and dietitian to provide personalized diet prescriptions. Additionally, consultations will be available for those who have received their lab results but were unable to attend their APE schedules. We hope to see you there!

Since time is limited, the service operates on a first come, first served basis. However, you also have the option to preschedule an appointment. Prescheduling helps prioritize your place in the list and allows the staff to better organize your medical records in advance. This ensures smoother and faster service when you arrive. We will be bosting our Appointment QR on Monday.

In Response to the APE: A Diet Tip from the Medical Clinic

Based on the recent Annual Physical Examination (APE) results, many of the identified health concerns—such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperuricemia, and dyslipidemia—can be effectively managed with healthy lifestyle changes.

Here’s a simple diet tip from your Medical Clinic:
“Eat more from the earth and less from the shelf.”
Choose fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats, and limit salt, sugar, processed foods, and saturated fats. Staying hydrated, reading food labels, and practicing portion control can go a long way in supporting your heart, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels.

Let’s take charge of our health—one healthy plate at a time!
