DOH DAVAO, NNC XI PINAIGTING ANG KAKAYAHAN NG LGUs SA NUTRITION PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Pinangunahan ng DOH Davao, sa pamamagitan ng programang Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project, katuwang ang National Nutrition Council (NNC) Region XI, ang pagsasagawa ng Nutrition Program Management Training noong Marso 9–11, 2026, sa Davao City.

Layunin ng aktibidad na paigtingin at palakasin ang kakayahan ng mga Local Government Units (LGUs) sa mas epektibong pagplano, pamamahala, at pagpapatupad ng mga programang pang nutrisyon. Sa loob ng tatlong araw, pinalalim ang kaalaman ng mga kalahok sa lokal na nutrition planning, monitoring at evaluation, at paggamit ng datos upang matiyak ang mas maayos na implementasyon ng mga programa.

Dumalo ang mga miyembro ng Municipal Nutrition Committees mula sa anim na munisipalidad na kabilang sa PMNP project sites kabilang ang: Malalag at Magsaysay, Davao del Sur; Malita, Sta. Maria, Don Marcelino, at Sarangani, Davao Occidental.

Binigyang-diin ng DOH Davao ang kahalagahan ng tuloy-tuloy na capacity building upang mapalakas ang local nutrition governance at mapabilis ang pagtugon sa mga hamon sa nutrisyon sa mga komunidad.

Monday to Thursday
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Select frontline services will continue to operate on a regular five day onsite work schedule to ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential public health services. These include:

• Emergency operations and response functions
• Wellness Center at Gaisano Grand Citygate Mall
• Other essential public health functions
• SubNational Blood Center for Mindanao - 24/7 operations
