Online consultations are available every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, 5:00–8:00 PM; also available in other days by appointment.

Anyone can get mpox. It spreads from contact with infected:
- persons, through touch, kissing, or s*x
- animals, when hunting, skinning, or cooking them
- materials, such as contaminated sheets, clothes or needles
- pregnant persons, who may pass the virus on to their unborn baby

If you have mpox:
- Tell anyone you have been close to recently
- Stay at home until all scabs fall off and a new layer of skin forms
- Cover lesions and wear a well-fitting mask when around other people
- Avoid physical contact

𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐇𝐈𝐍 | Kinumpirma ng Department of Health - Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development ang unang kaso ng Mpox dito sa Rehiyon nito lamang Setyembre 7, 2024. Ang pasyente ay naka-isolate at kasalukuyan nang ginagamot. Samantala, nagpapatuloy ang contact tracing, at imo-monitor ang mga indibidwal na maaaring na-expose sa nasabing virus.

Kabilang sa mga sintomas ng Mpox ang mga pantal sa balat, lagnat, pananakit ng ulo, pananakit ng kalamnan, at pamamaga ng mga kulani. Ang virus ay kumakalat sa pamamagitan ng malapitang kontak, kontaminadong materyales, o hayop na may impeksyon. Ang pagsusuri ay isinasagawa gamit ang PCR at tumatagal ng 2-3 araw para sa resulta.
